WHOOO-HOOOOO!!! Reese, that is SOOOO super exciting!! My cousin just had twins in May. She is one of a twin so there was always a chance but they are identical so there is nothing genetic about that. She said her twin pregnancy was soooo much easier than her singleton pregnancy. SOOO SOOOO happy for you, you will be just fine, agree with Chanti - 1. Get away from that doc! and 2. God only gives us what he knows we can manage! Guy from my work who also has twins told me about this site that they got a lot of support from:
www.samultiplebirth.co.za/wmenu.php and there is a FB group also. You can buy PLENTY of used things there. I really do swear by used things for the bigger things especially. Bought my crib with a compactum and a book case for R2800 and it was literally brand new. Same for my stroller, and I saved SOOOO much.
This is so super exciting ladies, I am sooo happy for all of us. Oh and AFM, went for the 2nd quantitative test yesterday, doc just sent the results and they more than doubled (monday 138, yesterday 481) so we are relieved and excited. Will book my first scan. I am a bit older than you ladies so we do fetal assessment as well, that will be just after 12 weeks so will find out then what we are having. We are praying for a little girl. I think my oldest son will be devastated if its a boy so we will need to prepare him if we are having a boy. Anyway, not going to worry about that now, just going to enjoy not feeling like crap! That will most likely still come
Thought for the day attached
