Dee, I have no doubt that you will cope! Somehow us moms always do.
Your LG might take some strain in the beginning (as will you) but i think at the end of the day, your lg and lb will be the best of friends and keep each other entertained one day.
When is your due date?

Feb 09 mamma - i have replied to your emails, not sure if you getting them though?

Babybob - I am jealous, you are a SAHM. ;)

My Lg also sleeps well - I really can't complain.
Goes to sleep at about 20h00 and most mornings I have to wake her up between 06h30 and 07h00 to get ready for school.
On weekends though she wakes up about 07h00/07h30 without fail. No matter what time she goes to bed the night before.
We tend to relax a wee bit on the routine on weekends - do you guys stick to the routine on weekends?

How does your LO sleep?

Ladies, any ideas on dinner/lunches to give to los? ;)

Dee, if I look at what Linique is doing I think your LG is going to help you with your LB! Linique is giving her teddies her bottle to drink and she dudu them with a pat on the back, so let me get to the point . . . I think it's going to be a challenge, but I think the fact that your oldest is a LG, helps a lot and by the time that you LB is sitting etc, his sister is going to entertain while you can cook etc.

Our little angel wants to sleep at 20:00 and then usually sleeps till 6:30 the next morning! But when she is teething, having a cold etc, it's a diffirent story! But we can't complain!

I am so terribly scared to get pregnant, I'm deffenitely not ready for another baby, but I think the closer they are together in age the better! Me and my brother has a age gap of 2 years and 9 months and that was a bit to far apart! But it's everyones choice and sometimes not, then it's just the way God planned it for us!

Hi ladies,

Been a bit quiet because our internet has been down for a dew days ;-(

Monica, this baby was not planned so I am quite unsure of how I am going to balance the two... my LO demands constant attention right now and I can see how tough this is going to be. Luckily, or unluckily (not sure which) she has become very attached to her dad over the past few weeks.... prefers him to me LOL inititally I was a little jealous, however it is probably for the best right now.

Wow a 45min tantrum? They make me so nervous hey. We havent had one that long yet, but basically she cries and throws herself on the floor when she doesnt get her way..... which seems to be happening more and more often nowadays ;-( It doesnt last for very long though, and I can usually distract her with something else.... but as you say, I hope it is not a sign of things to come ;-(

As for meal ideas, well I am the wrong mom to ask lol I buy ready made home made meals from a lady who delivers every 2 weeks. Her meals are divine though and Taylor loves them. And they not very pricey. The main reason I do this, besides that fact that I am a bit lazy cook now) is because her supper time is at 6, and we only get home by 5h30, so there's not enough time to make a good home cooked meal in 30 min....

Her food sounds very similar to yours, however she is solely on cows milk now. I changed her over a few weeks ago from formula... and it seems to be working well.

How do your LO's sleep at night?

Babybob I think that there are pro's and cons to having a 2nd baby, at each and every age, so whether they are 1 or 2 or 4 yrs old, there are both advantages and disadvantages. It really just depends on how you handle it I suppose. Right now my LO LOVES babies, so I am hoping that this plays in our favor for now... however you just never know.......

Hi Babybob, I think you'll love it here! It's a bit colder here than in the rest of SA, but nothing serious! In regards with your dogs, I'm sure there will be someone here who will be able to help! I know we have kennels as well where you can leave them when on vacation that takes good care of your animals! When are hubby starting here? Are you going to quit your job?
