I started replying here the other night, but my phone battery died half way through

Seems we're all either sleeping really well or just way too tired to type!
I find that if I type I stay up much longer than I need to. But I want to try it out again - because lately from 5am K is very niggly in her sleep, kinda like cramps but not really. So want to see if I hold her upright longer if it makes any difference to that time. Cos it really makes it tough for me when she does that. She finally settles around 6:30 but up again 7:30 for a feed, so not cool.

Yaz, those sleeps with them on top of you is the best hey! one feel sooo close to them, enjoy it. Happy ‘magic 3 months’! What did your work say? I think H will be a wonderful brother, im not 100% sure if he knows whats coming – he is 21 months now. He does know about my tummy, and his brother is in there but I don’t think he really knows. Cant wait to see whats going to happen when he realises this little baba is here to stay!

Girly, no Henko doesn’t go to a day care, he is looked after by Regina, our domestic that lives in. he was in school until 10 months and I had very bad experiences so we took him out and DH doesn’t even want to put him back till he is 4 – but im not comfortable with that. I feel that he needs to go when he turns 3 – 2012. SO this maternity leave will be a bit different as its not just me and baba at home but Regina and a busy toddler too! Hope your days have been better and that you got some rest.

Claudia, don’t worry too much about the rolling, at least he has done it – so you know he is fine, sometimes they just start something and then not want to do it again

Nikki, they do sleep quickly after the injections hey. Maybe she didn’t feel nicely after the injections and im sure her appetite will come back quickly.

Patty, you are so lucky with the rain, in Pta its very cloudy but its as if the rain is just stuck I really really hope it rains today!

Heya mommies, yes it's me and it's five a.m. For some reason my little munchkin decided to wake up one hour after her night feed at three and thinks it's play time - yawn! Whenever you think you've got it all in the bag these little buggers decide to throw it all and show you who's the boss lol. Anyway, the post is quiet so I hope everyone is where they belong - in bed! Nikki and Claud, a day mother would be my preferred option but it's hard to find one so I'm looking at anything at the moment. Still waiting for the board's decision btw, it's really driving me crazy! Gerne, I hope you got some rest in shame. In a few days or weeks you'll be joining us for different reasons on this thread, so exciting Is your son looking forward to his little brother? Vash, hope Liam stretches the time between his nightly feeds some more, two hours is lethal shame! Ok, we have now reached the 'I'm so tired I'm crying, mommy' stage, so hopefully I'll be able to put her down in a couple of minutes. Hubby's alarm will go off in half an hour, it's gonna be a looong day for me. Lekker slaapies, everyone! x

I had afternoon off today so I slept for about an hour - only woke up at 4:30 so now I can't sleep DH is also still awake reading a book.

So I got some olmega 3 tablets today, its a bit late but hope it will still help. Bepanthen for sore nipples and primrose oil tabs that I started wit tonight.

I'll reply tomorrow, typing on the bberry isn't fun, I asked dh to get me a card for the laptop when I'm on leave, thatll make things easier.

Hope all the mommies get some well deserved rest!

@ yaz, why not look for a day mom like nikki suggested. My friend has a day mom in durbs that she loves! She only takes on 3 babies at a time and has a helper plus she sends home a written report everyday detailing wet and poo nappies, food and formular intake, sleep times and activities done!

@ nikki. With BLW it's self feeding finger foods with no spoon feeding so James has to be awake and not hungry. I just give him something of what I am eating whenever as long as he is not irritable:)

@ vash I think some babies just don't sleep through:( re the frequent feeds though(and the weightgain) do you not think your LO is maybe not feeding long enough to get the good hindmilk? James went through a stage where he was drinking all the time for a few minutes. I eventually broke that by trying to stretch out feeds(my mom took him off me) so that he was hungrier and fed better! Also plateaus in weight gain are often normal in breastfed babies:)
