Good morning

I thought this would never happen again, but G slept from 7 30 till 4 30. I feel so awake. :) I have an odd method of judging the time when he wakes up - How full my boobs are. The only down side is that I am wet now.

Claudia Thanks for that reply. :)

Nikki if you miss do you take the ones you missed to catch up?

Hi ladies

Up for the 12h30 feed, P has been asleep since 20h00 (in her camp cot YAY!!!)

I keep forgetting to take my Microval and now I've run out c

I made this big dinner last night but never ate any, sleep was more important and was so tired, went straight to bed after P's feed. I was very naughty though, I scoffed a forbidden Bar one in bed ;-)

Hope everyone is getting some shut eye

Evening ladies

Hop you all had a lovely evening! Mine passed by in a blur :-)

@Patty - Snaps for Una getting into her bedtime routine!! Well done mommy. Makes a big difference when you have a bedtime routine

@ Claudia_B - Pcan only tolerate short periods in her pram/car seat/swing and then she wants out. Just glad she uses them as it does make life easier. Had to cancel lunch, had too much to do before we left and we would have been horribly late. A pity because I was looking forward to getting out of the house.

@Bronz - thank you and goodluck with the studying.

Peyton took two short naps in camp cot but with the other naps got up minutes after I laid her down, even though I waited 20min for her to fall into a deep sleep before putting her down. Slept in my arms instead but at least she slept for over 2 hours. Just going to keep trying. She must be comfortable as her grandma in DBN had a special king koil mattress made up for her cot, so its not sponge but a proper mattress.

It didn't fit her cot in the nursery as it was too small but perfect fit for campcot.

Hoping we all have good evenings! Catch up later

WOW I have to brag. Una has finally settled into new bedtime, 19:00! She feeds then starts rubbing her eyes (cries a bit),5min later she's out! Then I feed her again @ 21:30 (while she's sleeping), thereafter it's every 2:30hrs :-)

Vash how did u travel?

Nikki-P how was ur lunch date?

How was everyone's Sunday afternoon?

We enjoyed time @ my sister's, shame she's struggling with cracked nipples :-( her baby-boy is only 4days only. Hope it gets better.

Hey ladies. James was much better yesterday and last night. Thank goodness!

@ Bronz, he is a very alert baby who doesnt really like to sleep, I've learnt that after about 2 hours I need to just keep things very low key, but not try and stop him seeing things and he will generally go to sleep - so I can lie him in his cot withhis mobile on, or push him around in his pram facing forward, or carry him so he can see and gently just talk to him depending on his mood.. If it goes past that small window of opportunity he become so wired up that it is almost impossible to calm him and he becomes miserable. Then I find the only thing that works is giving him the breast. On friday we were out with my sister and he was getting agitated so I wanted to go home because I didnt have a pram or anything with us. We eventually got home too late and it landed up with a 4 hour gap between naps. He slept for 45mins which is normally enough, but I think because of how long he had gone before it wasnt, but I had no choice but to get him up because it was my other sisters birthday and we were going out to dinner. Long story but we eventually onl got him to go down at 8:45 (4 hours after his nap again) and only because I eventually had to leave dinner early because he was so miserable and wouldnt calm down in his pram (where he usually sleeps no problem). I think it just messed up his whole nightime routine... Yesterday he was back to his normal happy self and last night slept through as usual.
At night when he wakes up I always offer him the breast because it gets him back to sleep within a few minutes, and unless he is being really difficult I can put him back into his cot without a problem (he refuses a dummy - he actually gags on it) On Friday night though I made my hubby do 2 shifts because I was so finished. He usually just rocks him which works at night (but not during the day)

Nikki P,once you are at lunch you will enjoy it. Your lg looks so happy in her pram:) James has only stated liking his pram in the last 4 weeks or so...

Hey ladies.

Sorry I have been so quiet, pity that does not mean he is sleeping through. Although I have come to terms with the fact that he wakes up and its easier to let him carry on sleeping in my bed.

@Claudia sorry you had a bad night, hopefully last was better. Does James get grumpy when over stimulated? When he wakes up do you feed him?

@Vash how often does Liam feed during the day?
I lived in Joeys my whole life yet if I go up now, I get all dry any stuffy. Funny how it affects you so quickly.

@Nikki: Peyton is too gorgerous :). Love the cheeks.
I would recommend flying. G has flown about 4 times already. With out any issues. Just put her on the boob / bottle / dummy for take off and landing.

Off to hit the books again. Have a great day ladies. :)
