Hi ladies
I hate it as well when people try to overstimulate Peyton-its really frustrating because we are left to deal with a fussy baby. Yesterday I had a visitor who could clearly see I had a sleeping baby in my arms and I was shushing them so clearly did not want her to be disturbed. But no she loudly greets me and then pinches her cheeks saying "come on wake up baby" !!??!! Wtf??
Girly I took your advise and got a campcot and moved the moses basket into the nursery. She was crying non stop from 16h00 yesterday almost as if she was in pain. Had a clean nappy, didn't want her dummy or boob and had comfortable clothes on and got up from a nap so rested. She continued crying right through her bath at 7h30 which she never ever does, she loves her bath and even after her feed she was fussing and crying which is definitely not like her. She was drooling a lot and biting her fists but didn't want her dummy. We gave her some panado syrup and DH finally got hour to sleep at 21h30 and laid her down in new camp cot. Do you you ladies think its possible that she is teething already? She is 2.5 months?
She slept in the campcot until 23h30 and fed again, but then DH told me to keep her in bed with us and she was so tired and needed comforting and said we can start training her to sleep in new cot from today.
So there she slept until now. DH is working today which is a pity as I was looking forward to some rest today.
Unfortunately even when she sleeps past 7 I can't as my dogs insist on getting me up (its a routine from before I fell pregnant) and playing. If I ignore them they persist until I get up, this once went on for over an hour!
Vash are you flying to JHB? I want to fly down to DBN in November-she will be 4months then but a bit apprehensive.
My mum is visiting again on Tuesday, can't wait as I really need the help!
Yaz how did the move go?
