Vash hopefully he'll let you have more 3.5+ hour gaps tonight. How old is the little man?
You're definitely not the only person I know who fell pregnant while qualifying and never went to work. If you can afford it, and want a big family then awesome. For me the only consideration is that if things change that I'd have to work, I'd have to start at the bottom of the food chain due to no experience. That's okay when we're younger, but say in your 40's not ideal. But no point living in fear is there.
I really wish I was able to stay home, at least till she's a year old, but expenses vs income just doesnt allow it. Im stressing that I wont find a job that will cover the expenses as I will take a salary cut for a better quality less stressful job and life if at all possible.
I got my licence at 23, and only because a promotion at work required me to have a car so I had motivation. I must say Im a changed person for it. Cant imagine relying on someone else to get around, although we used to have to do things like groceries together which was nice, now its just me. While I was transportless and reliant on others, I always used to make effort for things like gym etc cos I had to make a commitment to someone else who was going with me. Since I got the car, the job got more demanding, and less time, more tired once I got home, and had no one to organise with, so gym went out the window, and 30kgs later here I am!
So definitely pro's and con's.
I went and bought more today - size 42E!!! I am huge. Was a 38d before being pregnant.
I bought the snookums honey dummie today, and she actually seems to like it! I have tried the bottle once with Kaylee and she just doesnt like it. The NUK ones we have have a tiny hole in the teet she has to work hard to drink and it took a lot of effort to get her to suck.
Bronz how did you enjoy your day enjoying the sunshine?
Lol re dummy - hadnt noticed

yet...
I stay in Kraaifontein and you?
Hubby got some sleep, but says he was awake for my 4am feed but not cos of her though, his ears were sore.
After the 2nd feed K woke up an hour later (30mins sleep for me), from bad wind. So we put her between us and she calmed down. But by then I was wide awake so I did not get much sleep.
Today's been tough. Had to dash out to buy a few things only to get called back early cos she was awake and hungry. So fed, burped, had lunch and went out again. And yup, called again on the way home so wasnt able to buy lotto ticket or any desert - I'm craving sugar!
We got the Bright Starts swing for her today and she's in it as we speak. But she wakes so easily for anything. So all lights are off, white noise cd on & hoping for the best. Really hope its worth the money! Thankfully my aunt in Pta gifted us with money towards it.
K seems to have bad reflux and maybe some nausea. Sent breastfeeding consultant an sms earlier cos twice today and a couple times in the week she projectile vomited what seemed like all her food out either before, while or after being burped. Its so much it soaks her clothes. She recons nausea could cause it?

We have our 6w check up on thursday but the consultant reckons we should bring it forward to Monday rather.
She is on 3 different heart medications at the moment so I hate to have to add more medication to her day, she really hates those syringes and fights them each time. But she is still so small so cant afford to be losing full meals
We are both exhausted. Kaylee has hardly slept either.
She fed at 6:30 so expecting her to wake up any minute. Then supper, and then bed I reckon otherwise not sure how I'll cope tonight.
See you all later ladies
