Hi Girly I must have just missed you online earlier this morning. Peyton slept 4.5hrs and got up now at 6h30, putting her off to sleep now.

Vash I know exactly where both areas are :-)

Where do you ladies feed and lay baby down for naps during the day. And how long are the naps during the day?

Hi ladies. I didn't post much last night because i was so exhausted and ended up feeding Liam while lying down (thanks claudia). It seems as if he can't go 2 hours between feeds anymore. Last night he woke up every 1.5hrs.
Nikki i lived in Buffelsbosch before and now i live in westcliff (unit 3).
Bronz, i was supposed to get my degree last year but i was in my first trimester when i was writing exams and i started getting really bad cramps, i was told it was a threatened mc so i was put on bed rest. So with stressing about the baby i couldn't really concentrate and ended up failing 2 exams. I took a break this year but have to finish next year and then see about getting my honours.
Girly, what are your majors? I started off doing accounting but found it too boring and switched to b com general last year.
Well DH just left for work now and i'm ready to get back into bed but Liam is wide awake and wants to play now so i have to try to get him to sleep first.

Hi Nikki!

Wanted to add about the lights. We keep the light of the en-suite on and the door open. It provides enough to latch properly. But then for changing i put the bedside lamp on. Still need to get a night light some time.

I thought I was done but K let a few rip while I was sitting here so better change her diaper again.

its quiet here tonight. Kaylee slept from 11 till now. Was so not expecting that cos of her loss of food tonight so i had set my alarm for 1:30 and kept snoozingroomying till now so doesnt feel like I slept well.

I am from PretoriaPrev. Spent my childhood there. Moved to Cpt at 15. Did not really enjoy the first 2 years. Met DH just before the start of my matric year. We got married at 21. Started off with nothing, not even a car. Its nice that what we have now, we built together. Makes us more appreciative. Started ttc last May and conceived straight away but had mcnb in june. Found out same day Michael Jackson died. Conceived again last November while on a weekend get away in Robertson.

Those of you studying are you doing so presently or did you stop for maternity leave?
I am also studying part time, just a general bcom degree. But I decided to take a break this year for pregnancy and maternity. I have 2 subjects left on first year and them another 4 part time years to go.
I was retrenched in July. But spent the last 8 years working for a shipping company in various positions eventually trading manager. I will apply for similar jobs again as the money is quite good but they are all town based so will also apply elsewhere in operational or forex environment. The job satisfaction would have to be really good for me to go back to town cos Dh also works there and we would have to find a town based day mother he I did. I got paid a package that will see me to January. So I have till November to get my cv ready. Thats only 6 weeks away. I wish i could stay home but with bond and bills to pay cv the moment its just not possible.

Well I hope the silence is an indication that you are all sleeping.
Next wake up probably 6 altho if we keep up the 4 hour gap closer to 7. Fingers crossed.

Hi ladies

Welcome Owais mum!

Small world hey Vash ;-) I lived on Atlas Street. Where did you live and whereabouts in Chatsworth now?

So sorry about K throwing up her feed Girly, can only imagine how you felt. Hopefully she has settled down now.

Peyton only woke at 2 now after her 7h30 bath and feed. Still trying to make her sleep now

Claudia have you tried Sterimar saline spray for James blocked nose?-its all natural sea water and purified water. Works like a bomb for Peyton

Hey ladies

Graeme is up earlier than normal. Oh well hopefully he will last longer.

The drive back went really well. I only realised how hectic it was yesterday when thinking about the fact that I was only able to see just infront of the car and there was quite a steep drop to the right. I just followed the line home. I think I am at a point now with the driving where I just want the licence. At least I have the date booked and can work towards that.

Talking about weeing. Graeme weed in hie first shoe on sat. I bathed him at the house we went to. And as I was waiting for the water to finish running I was holding G and he let this arc of wee go that ended up landing right in one of the lady's shoes. Shame she had to rinse her shoe off and go bare feet for the rest of the eve.

About me. I am s SAHM for now. Studying my BEd in Early childhood development (enable me to me a nursery and junior primary teacher), currently in my fourth year. I wont stop there will prob get a Post grad degree in child psych after this. Oh this year was meant to be my last but you know how things go with a baby, so have 3 modules at the beginning of next year too.
Graeme was planned. Started trying in March last year but I was living between Joeys n CT, so conceived in Aug. Was juggling two cities cause of my dad - will post about him some other time - and moved down to ct properly in july.

Joli i hope by the time you join I am sleeping through -well both G and I. hehe

Vash if you are nervous of damaging the car then go with an instructor, they are insured if some thing happens.

I used to have to turn on a light of sorts but now he find his own way in the dark and I open the lap top behind him.

Girly it great having that support. If you can give the same thing to some one else that great.
I give G one bottle a day now and I hate washing that one bottle mission. :P

Chat a little later, with this early waking he will be up before 5 so will open up again. At least he will go back down.

My turn again. Claudia, i agree with you on the medicine thing. The only reason i used it was because he had the blocked nose for a week and it wasn't clearing up but i don't like to give him any other medication. About myself, well i'm a SAHM, i will finish my B Com degree in finance and economics next year, I have a LB, Liam who is 4 months. I recently started him on solids and still breastfeeding. I had a mc last year in june at 8 weeks and then got pregnant with Liam in august, also not planned but the best gift ever.
Girly only i have an indian name between DH, Liam and myself. My DH's name is Israel. Durban is a great place to live. I can't see myself living anywhere else. You should visit again and you will have a better experience. Sorry about the throwing up. I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight.
