Yaz: Good luck with the move. Try get your SIL to give the bottle before L asks for it when she is still happy. I found that worked with G when he still was not that keen on the bottle.

Patty: All I can say is keep at it. G fought the bottle every day, until one day he decided it was ok. As I said to Yaz try give it before she asks for it, I found he would take it when he was happy but as soon as he was upset he wanted boob for comfort too. About the bottles G took to TT quickly when we were fighting but now he takes both TT and NUK.

We are here jus no one could logg on yesterday.

gerne: I was also like that, but gave my hubby pay back in advance as I was apparently snoring like no tomorrow. Kept him up many nights hehe.

Girly: Yay for first smiles. They are the best. I love the realisation when they find out they can control it. How is the possible mastitis today?

G is lying here on the bed talking to himself. Ah love it.
Lots of studying again today and house work. The joys. Oh last night was better. G only woke up at 2 again.

Gerne I now kno why one is so sleepy during pregnancy, it's to prepare for the sleepless nights after I used to sleep by 20:00, poor DH was left alone. Now he's sleeping thru de night while I do night feeds.

Girly hope ur eening got better. I tried NUK & Avent bottles, wil check Pigeon. Does de teat fit on de Nuk/Avent bottles? I'm having a collection of feeding bottles

I'm off to bed now, shame man my DH feels alone, abandoned and unloved I'm going to bed earlier and earlier every night. I'm exhausted in the evenings and sometimes even struggle to have a good convo

My LB climbed in bed 3 times with us last night, so we were awake a few times. I asked his nanny to bath him at 4 in the afternoons as that will help me and DH a bit and then DH can rather help with supper than doing the bath. It helps a lot!

Girly those first smiles are just the best hey! Hope you have the camera close by all the time!

Gotta type quick - got baby in swing with white noise but she is wrestless and fighting her sleep.
I swayed her for a good 20minutes but my back is cramping from doing it all day and she kept dosing in and out and I wasnt getting any where, so hopefully me leaving her in the swing for a bit wont make her overtired as DH is not here and I'm wanting to go to bed soon as she is down.

Patty glad your little on is okay after the vaccinations. The site was down for a while today while they moved it to another server.
My lg refuses nuk bottle, but takes pigeon. Maybe try a different teat and see if it works? She also doesnt take the cup - chockes it up.

Nikki sorry to hear you had a tough time last night. Hope it went better for you today and tonight. When youve had such a long day that last stretch can really become too much. I felt exactly the same on monday night when she was up pretty much from 7pm till 1am.
The camp cot is great cos its cheap, can be packed away after and taken on holidays etc without too much effort. I'm glad we have one. We have a wooden cot in her bedroom but wont move her there till 4 or 6 months (will still see).

I've gotten a couple of smiles today and yesterday which is really cool. I dont think she has realised yet what she's doing but not long now she'll be smiling all the time.

I think I'm getting mastitis in my one breast. Its sore and tingly and full. Feels better now after hot and cold packs, some hand expressing and a feed, but still worried. Gynae on leave this week, I see him monday for my follow up. Fortunately they have a new gynae at the practice who will arrange a script for anti-biotics incase it gets worse, I worry especially over the weekend.

Anyways, duty calls again. DH is out tonight so its just me & K. Just hope she will go down soon cos mommy needs some rest.

Couldn't log in today anyway last night wasn't bad, fed every 3hrs and she wasn't miserable after the vaccinations.

My LG refuses the bottle, we tried this whole weekend she drinks from the cup thou, hope her nanny wil be patient with her otherwise my baby's gonna starve.

Hello fellow troubled mommies, shame, whats going on? All LOs causing trouble?! They must be communicating with one another! Sorry i have been AWOL,the preps for our move 2m are super stressful! Cant wait for it to be over! I must really give Ms Lilly big ups though, she has been cooperating so well for the most part. Shes sleeping on my chest now after the painters and carpet cleaners finally left. My SIL offered to babysit her 2m but i'm scared L will refuse the bottle. I guess we'll give it a shot and if all fails I'll have to drive there every 3 hours to bf her. My advice to everyone: never move house with a baby! Chat later x

Got up to feed G last night and fell asleep with him on my chest and lap top on my lap. Did not work out as planned.
