"babies might be home before me. i've got a bacteria in my blood, probably from the D&C. waiting for results to see what kind, so not sure how long i'll be in for. could go home sunday or 7-10 days time depending on results".

Welcome Trish, we will probably give birth about the same time. I am dues 22 Feb, but may need to gor a CS on the 11th- This will be my first and it's a girl, I am in CPT.

Well it's going to be 42 in Paarl today, luckily I'm in a airconditioned office! Had a maternity shoot yesterday- outdoors in a park, looking forward to seeing the pics as I don't really like posing for pics. My finger tips are still numb, from carpal tunnel syndrome, quite annoying.

Maryke and Vix and MommyN - good luck with the feeds and the sleepless nights.

Trish - welcome to our group. I'm oe of the ladies who had her baby in Dec. This is a Nov to March thread LOL. I only found out I was preggies at 18 weeks and then Nathan came at 33 weeks, so my pregnancy was really short (bit sad bec I dont think I'll have more kids)

I had a good day, might be the fact that Missy slept through and Nathan only woke once, and was only awake for just over an hour! Felt so good today. Was up and out the house by 7h30 - ok, just me and Nathan, he had his eye test. Poor thing, first had to dilate eyes and then have local anesthetic - I didnt know it was so involved. Hour and half bec we had to wait for dilation. And Dr wants to see him in 2 weeks again... just hoping there is no over-development of the eyes!

I did a terible thing yesterday, I said I would never give Missy a bottle to drink in her cot by herself, but I was so tired, Nathan was crying and if she stayed up another 10 mins, she would never have napped. You learn never to say never! I'll try not make it a habit, feel so guilty for doing it.

Maryke, hope your c-sec is feeling better now. I didnt think that weeks later you can still get sore, but its defnitely because I feel fine and then try do something... carrying too much wet laundry, manouvering the pram around the arage and in the car... etc! Hope the maid thing works out - happy cooking and try not to burn yourself (cant blame being preggies anymore LOL)

Vix, is your clot at your cut better now? How are you feeling? Hope a little better. Have you taken anything for the cold?

Also hope that the BF went better today? As you always said, the fun starts when they are a bit older!

Chris - are you ok? I know you have almost zero time to post, I understand those days! Just to let you know, we are thinking of you! Hope you are getting better!

I am also battling to think what to do to stimulate Nathan - am so scared to leave him in the play gym with Missy around! She really examined him today, lifting his arm and leg, stroking his head, so cute! And then she was chatting away in baby talk to him, and then laughing her head off! I swear I saw him smiling at her, but guess its a tad early for smiles! I so hope they can bond and be best friends. I didnt have a brother or sister and always wished I did! DH and his sister have never been close (I've only ever seen her 4 or 5 times!).

Ok, better get supper sorted out now... Missy asleep and Nathan asleep too - he should be awake at 8 again!

We've had so much rain here at us in Pta, and its quite chilly, but lovely! Hope the Cape mommies are surviving in the heat!

Hi ladies

Vix, Llewellyn eat sleep eat sleep eat sleep or just looks around no crying or niggelyness, but Aiden full time job he is awake between feeds and needs to be comforted cause other wise he will cry then after about an hour he settles and sleeps I don't have problems at night they feed and sleep now and again Aiden will be niggly and need a bit of me time but doesn't take to long then he settles, I was looking on the Internet for a daymother to send them to but can't find anyone. Don't want to send them to nursery shcool yet there are to many kids only when they one I will send them to lg's old school. This first weeks I can still handle but if they have more awake times how do you handle both and in your case 3, are you thinking of sending C to a nursery shcool soon?

Lg went to "big school" today but what a screaming match you would think after the boring week she had she would have welcomed all her friends, but I just realised how ma vas she still is

Ster anytime, they don't really want you to drive because of the jerking of the car or if you have to stop suddenly, I had to stop suddenly on monday and it was flippen sore, my cut was actually so tender last night I had to drink a pain killer still sensitive today I think it was all the activeness yesterday putting the pram in and out of the car carrying the twins in there car chairs was bit hectic.

Kimika you nearly there time flies glad you doing well, but I am going out with my sil tonight can't wait just to get out and be with people and no babies

I burnt myself on the oven last night hubby laughed and said it's because I was use to Paulina cooking everynight and now forgot how to cook bloody Ahole

O so guess what he just happily says to me last night he is going fishing in Richardsbay for his birthday the end of the month, I am like uhhmmm if you haven't realised we did just have twins so he's like ask your mom to come and stay but wait pay back is a bitch.

I am actually tired of having a good nights rest today
