Hi there everyone!

Sorry for being MIA but I had to focus on something different for a while just to keep my sanity. I am still waiting for my lg to show up. Lost my mucus plug yesterday morning and thought this is it. I had such bad gastro cramps last night that I could walk talk or do anything, but from 3 o clock this morning its gone and I am fine again.

I am starting to get stressed now not for babies safety, because according to the nurse she is still fine and very comfy, but for the actual birth. Its funny how seconds after normal birth you forget about the pain and you never thing about it until weeks before the birth of your next baby. I try not to think about it cause it makes my body all tens. I am on hourly rescue drops.

hi ladies,

shoo can't believe that emily is 9 days old already. this last week has flown past. i've lost loads of weight - averaging 1kg per day. emily is well - she was 100g over her birth weight at the 1week mark. pretty chuffed as they say the breast babies tend to pick up weight slower than formula babies. she weighed 2.94kg on wed. i can see she is getting porky on her thighs

carmen - this sucked big time. its been crap hot. think wed was about 44*C. how are you doing in the heat?

ashley has been the hardest work i tell you. she's started her tantrums this week prob due to her being stressed that i cannot pick her up as often as i did. i am tired and even though i'm not sore, the incision area is still very tender on the left side only, and it only takes one wrong move to stuff the entire healing process up.

craig has been great with ashley. he has bonded so much with her this week that passed ehich is lovely fo rhim.

cameran is a chuffed young man - a big brother to 2 cute sisters

chris - hope you are ok friend.

vix - how is that colic doing> have you tried the bennets colic mixture? it worked so well for me with ash last year.

binks - i cannot believe how similar vanya and arwen look. incredible. they could have been twins. post a pic of them both at the same age for us to see the similarities.

"Why am I having tingling and numbness in my hands during pregnancy?
These sensations are most likely caused by carpal tunnel syndrome. Although you probably associate this condition with people whose jobs require repetitive hand movements (such as data processors, computer programmers, and assembly-line workers), it's also more prevalent in pregnant women.

Symptoms may include numbness, tingling, burning, pain, or a dull ache in the fingers, hand, wrist, and even up the arm to the shoulder. In severe chronic cases, your hand may feel clumsy or weak.

Symptoms usually affect both hands and can appear at any time, but they're more likely to begin or worsen in the second half of pregnancy when women tend to retain more fluid. The symptoms usually go away gradually after you give birth, as the swelling from pregnancy subsides.

What causes carpal tunnel syndrome during pregnancy?
The carpal tunnel is a bony canal formed by the wrist bones on three sides and a ligament that runs across the wrist on the other. The swelling and fluid retention that's so common during pregnancy can increase the pressure in this relatively narrow and inflexible space, compressing the median nerve that runs through it.

The median nerve gives sensation to the thumb and the index, middle, and half of the ring finger and is responsible for movement of a muscle at the base of the thumb. Pressure on this nerve is what causes the symptoms."

Chris- I'm soooooo sorry to hear you're back in hospital, what a bad ride you're having...... I really hope the results from the tests show you can go home on Sunday, can't imagine what it must feel like to be in hospital if your babies go home, that's why I was most scared about them operating on the clot. I hope your recovery is soon and fast for the A-Team's sake, they really need their mommy when they go home as I'm sure Ricky needs his gorgeous wife. I hope you guys are coping through all this craziness! Xxxxxx

MommyN- did you read my thing about the iron? Will you please try the Autrin, I bet it will make a huge difference. My clot seems to have gone completely but I will just have Dr check it on tuesday for my 6w check up. I was very sore until about sat and ever since I've been getting better and better.

I am thinking AF is around the corner for me.... Can you believe it already, With C she arrived exactly 6w to the day after birth even though I was BF and this time I think she'll do the saame because my tummy is bloated and I'm getting a lot of discharge.

Hey guys 6w, nearly time for me to start getting jiggy again! We haven't had sex since 25w preg so that's 16w, 4 months since we did the royal deed..... I miss it but DH doesn't.

Carmen- I can't wait to see the pics from your shoot! How's the gastric reflux treating you these days? I was thinking about you last night because I'm having to give Alex the snot resembling gaviscon because he's suffering acid reflux too. But he's much better with 1ml per bottle. And the CTS, what exactly is it?

Yvette- thanks for the update on Chris. How are you and Emily getting on at home? Is she still feeding well? I'm finding the huggies nappies leak quicker than the pampers so as over sized as they are my bboys are sticking with pampers. Ironic really because in the bigger sizes I prefer Huggies to Pampers. My boys will be in No1 nappies for quite some time, they're so dinky still.

Meags- can't wait to see your bump!

I am taking the boys for their 6w check up tomorrow, they're only 6w on tuesday but I have the gynae then and one lot of appointments is enough for 1 day so I made the boys for tomorrow so me & Dr can have a good long chat about colic!!!! My house turns into a hell hole from 3pm every day, it's hideous and I haven't been able to cook for the past 5 days, Hubby is cooking every night. I tried cooking tonight and we only got to eat at 9pm.

O.k I MUST sleep!
