Jan/Feb 2011 Mommies (Nov & Dec 2010 early babes)

Hi all, I'm new here. I'm expecting my third little girlie in February, with my older two being 6 (7 in Feb) and 4 (just turned in Dec).

Morning Ladies,

Chris- you're really having a tough recovery hey? I hope you feel better soon and your body fights off the infection fast. I agree with you guys, as horrible as it is to leave your babies behind it must be nice to recover at home alone especially if you're very sick. When I formed that clot it was horrible to have to still jusmp out of bed for every moan and groan, even just the wound recovery, If they had kept both babies in I maybe wouldn't have even developed the clot.

I managed to get Alex back on the breast this morning with no hassles so far. I think it was giving my breasts a good empty yesterday that helped, I was too full for him to latch properly perhaps.

MommyN- Get yourself a box of Autrin Iron tabs and try it for a month. I stopped taking it when I ran out and the fuzzy head came, I felt tired, short tempered and quite down, then I started taking it again and ever since have been coping mentally very very well. It can't hurt to give it a try. I would say it's working better than the anti depressants I took last time. I hope you can learn to deal with your birth, I do think writing it down will help! Xxx

Hope you are all well?

Sorry for being MIA - sjoe, I don't know where the days are going too but it seems like there are less hours in the day.

Any way, MIL is enjoying her visit and she is loving Inge. Still doesn't help a lot but at least now she sits on her @ss and when Inge cries she quickly jumps up to help. DH started work yesterday - he always plans so well - so I am keeping MIL company.

Poor Inge has a eye infection - she started at hospital already in the one eye and now it is in the other eye. At least I have an excuse not to drive MIL around. O yes, I am mobile again and loving it. I left Inge with MIL yesterday afternoon as I had to go to the UIF offices to sign for my first pay - was quite impressed with the amount - not going to make me rich but at least the State is giving me something back after taking for years LOL. Later yesterday I had to go to the gyne to have my stitches removed and left her again with MIL - I don't like the idea of leaving her behind but at the end it all worked out fine.

Maryke thanks for your offer - I might still take you up on it - watch this space.

Shame Chris - you really had a rough time - hope you are feeling better soon.

To all the other ladies - hope you are all doing well and enjoying your little ones. And to the ladies that are still pregnant - enjoy the last couple of weeks / days - I must say I miss being pregnant.

MommyN, dh and I say the same thing, thank goodness, I would of never been able to look after them like this, so I have the time to get myself back to somewhat "normal", I think they might be home end of this week beginning of next, so just takign it day at a time.
