Chan - sorry to hear Kade is still not sleeping. could it be the milk he is on? Inge started vomitting last week Wednesday everytime she drank her Isomil and she also started with eczema. Spoke to Pead and we decided to change her to Novalac SD. From waking up 6-8 times a night we are down now to 2-3 times. She drinks less and sleeps longer (even during the day). The 30 minutes cat nap in the day is now anything from 45 minutes to an hour and half.

Hello to all the other moms - sjoe but it is quiet here

AFM - not much - on leave for the rest of the week. We are planning to build on a "braai" room as well as redo our bathrooms and I'm told I could get a new kitchen - yippee!!! so tomorrow and Thursday I have people coming around to do quotes.

here is a photo or two of Inge. She has this "obsession" with mugs - as soon as she see we are drinking out of a mug the hands are out. Obviously I don't give her coffee so I wait until I'm finished and then I give it to her and she pulls it to her mouth - it look so cute

Man, I had typed a whole post and it went missing!! Argh!

Ok, going to try think of a hortened versin, all babies are awake... not complaining yet....

Chan, so sorry Kade isnt sleeping better, really wish I had an answer or some advice for you. I am glad that his op went well though.

Maryke, glad you enjoyed your trip, my sister went there in April, they enjoyed it but the driving is quite hectic! Yay for Aidens second tooth!!

Mands, I dont think you need to worry about J's growth, it does slow down as they get bigger, I think "normal" for a big baby boy at 9 months is 11.6kg and for smaller normal small baby boy is 7.5kg, so dont worry. My bubs also dont like the lumpy food, they complain so much and they havent taken to chicken either, need to try again. We've been a bit slow on the introduction of new foods, I told dh we really need to start giving them variety now.

Suhaila, aaqil is so cute, makes me nervous for when my 3 are mobile!

Don't stress about the crawling - he'll start when he's ready! It's so weire because Kade won't eat Purity or Oli at all. He absolutely "grills" if I give it to him!

Argh I hate the injections too. I always rub Emla cream on his legs to deaden them before and it does help a bit.

I can't believe J is almost 9 months already! Wow!!

Well nothing has changed with Kade. He basically sleeps from 8 - 12am and that's it. Then he's awake and niggly and moaning and thrashing around every 20 minutes until 6am when we get up. And this is like clockwork every single night is exactly the same! Any suggestion how to get even an hour stretch between wakings?

Shew I had a lovely weekend, got spoilt for my birthday.

Maryke- I see you say you dont do a full feed maybe just finish what was left-( I have always wondered- I know they say formula after an hour you must throw, Ill be honest I push this too.. Are you feeding formula or BF? And for how long can we keep it?) J also loves Purity fruits, I get worried that he prefers that, though he eats the veg purity and veg I make( i seriously gave up on cooking fruit cos he hated it so I buy purity).

Other than that all is well. Jordyn- I have a feeling he is going to skip crawling. He doesn't assume the position and if you try help him he just laughs. He rolls where he wants to be. But ja there is still time. He has to go for 9 months check up in a weeks time. And jabs. Seriously hate it, and never mind the cost of it. We use our medical aid for it and man it will be exhausted after this lot.

I am a little worried, maybe you can help Suhaila- I know you were talking about Aaqils growth % etc.... How much should J be gaining. I have a feeling he is'nt gaining enough. I think in over a month he has only gained 100g. He now weighs 8.5kg. I hope Paed won;t change his milk?
