Hi Ladies

hope you are all well?

I typed a long post the other day and lost it. So now I'm starting over again.

Binks - Inge eats porridge for breakfast, veggies for lunch and supper. About a month ago I made her chicken, baby marrow and patti pans. she didn't like the texture so I went back to the normal carrots / squash / pumpkin / sweet potato etc. Last week I tried the chicken combo again and she loves it. I have also given her squash, carrot and potato. I will soon start with salmon and veggies.

I have also given her yoghurt but not long after she has eaten it she cries with tummy pains. I stoped it now - could be because she is on soya milk and the full cream is not working with her??

She has had a couple of nights where she woke up almost 7 times so since Tuesday we are doing sleep training with her and so far it is working. I no longer pick her up to feed her - I just put her on her side and let her drink. I have also started giving her Floradix Magnesium and apparently that also helps with sleeping. last night she slept from 19:00 to 01:00, drank a bit and slept again until 05:30 this morning - that is a huge improvement. (please I hope I don't jjingxs (spelling??) this now)

Chris - the A-team is so gorgeous.

Chan - hope all is well on your side and that Kade had a great night (and you too).

Suriya - hope your LO's are well and better.

Mandz - sjoe, 8 months old - the kids are growing up too quickly. Imagine last year this time we were all pregnant and now the LO's are crawling (some of them) and eating and teething (some of them)

Suhaila, MommyN, Vix, Maryke, Lizelle - hope you ladies are all doing well?

Ika - you are in my prayers and I hope and pray that soon you would also have a precious little bundle in your arms!!!! Strongs to you.

AFM - my mom is leaving tomorrow and boy are we going to miss her. I so wish they were closer but we are not planning to move back to CT and my dad has no desire to stay in J'burg. Inge is much better and Monday it is back to creche for her.

Okay Ladies, have a great day and weekend

Kade had his surgery! The bravest little boy there! He was brilliant! Didn't sleep much last night - he was in pain from about 1am and his ears just bled the entire night. But he's back to being his happy self again this morning!!

Just letting you all know Kade is supposed to go into surgery tomorrow for his ears but we were up all last night with a high fever and vomiting. Not sure if they'll do the surgery now. Waiting to see how he is in the next hour and then phone the paed to make a decision.

As desperately as we need the surgery to be done, there is no way i'll take a chance and risk his life. We've lived like this for 7 months - another week won't kill us!

Hope everyone else and their baba's are good!
