Wow Maryke your holiday sounded awesome:)

Poor Kade it just never seems to end for him, I hope you get answers soon as to why his ears still bleed. Your spot on Chan that boys are more likely to present with the hyperactive/impulsive component and there is a genetic predisposition for siblings, buys its not an absolute given, so holding thumbs for you that he won't be adhd.

Mandz, like Kade Aaqil only goes to bed at 8. He sleeps until 2-4 then back again until 8. He is only having his dinner when Jordyn is going to bed:)

I've been on police control, Having Aaqil mobile means I'm chasing behind him, he won't just sit and stay. And he has started to stand annd hold and walk, but sometimes is falling and getting hurt when I'm not fast enough. See pics below of him standing. No teeth as yet. My domestic worker was caught stealing and watching tv, and ruining Aaqils clothes, and when I asked her she walked out, so I'm maidless and having a braai for part of our zikr group this weekend:( no teeth for Aaqil as yet. Okay back to cleaning. Hi to everyone else.

Maryke your trip sounds fabulous! So glad you had a great time!

Wow your boys can sleep!!!!!!!!!!

I have no doubt in my mind that Kade will be ADHD. He's exactly like Kyra was except worse and WAY more active. Kyra is only ADD but boys normally have the hyperactivity part. ARGH - that's the only thing I can put the sleeping thing down to now.

Does Llewellyn have any teeth?

I'm still waiting for Mr Kade's first tooth! But Kyra only got hers at 11 months so he'll probably be somewhere near that. I can't believe both my kids are identical with everything - it's like they've been cloned!

Hallo hallo hallo!

Long time no chat, was missing nearly 3 weeks.....oooo the time the time where does it go!

We went on our holiday we ended up going to Namibia we travelled from Karasburg to Ai Ais to the fish river canyon then to Luderitz from there to Sossusvlei, Sesriem, Solitaire, from there Walvisbay from there to Swakopmund, Windhoek, Upington and them home, all that in 10days WOW is all I can say can you believe they only have over 2mil people living in Namibia, really!? We have over 45 mil living in South Africa. I would really recommend a trip!

Ok lets see what I can remember :pinch:

ChanM glad Kade was such a brave little man bummer that he is still fighting the sleep, I know bleeding from the ear after the grommets is normal but so long not sure about that. Hope all is ok, sjoe you a strong woman!!!! ;)

Ster, Pitty your mom had to leave so nice just to have a couple of hours to yourself. At least Inge is doing much better that is a big bonus.

Chris aahhh love the girls pearcings your bubs are gorgeous!

Mands Aiden gags and Llewellyn vomits when I try giving him lumpy food but they looooveee porridge, I battle with veggies they only like gems they can live on purity fruits so I stick with that.
My boys also go down at 6 maybe 1 or 2 wakings at night I barely give another feed I just give them the rest of there bottle if it's not finished and then just stick to dummy. They wake anything from 6-7 in the mornings. What I do now if I can't settle them with dummy or bottle I just walk out and leave them for about 5 min most of the times they settle themself.

Suriya scarry stuff with your boy is he doing much better now, what was it?

Ika welcome back and really holding thumbs girl!!!!!!!

Ok there we are minds a blank!

Vix, Binks, Suhaila hallo there hope all is well!

O yes forgot to mention Aiden has his second tooth!!!!!

The count down has begun we are moving next friday heeehhaaaaa!!!!! :woohoo:

Mandz I wouldn't stress too much about Jordyn's eating. My daughter hated lumpy, textured food as well. She was still eating Purity when she was a year and a half! She only got her first tooth at 11 months and only from over a year did she start with more solid foods.

Goes down at 6pm? Shoo - You may need to stretch that to 7pm maybe? But hell don't take my advice - I can't even get Kade to sleep more than 3 hours at night anymore!

Kade's new routine is asleep at 8pm. Sleep until 12am and then be awake every 20/30 minutes. It's absolute hell. I got 40 minutes sleep from 12am this morning.

His ears are still bleeding at night. Seeing ENT specialist on Thursday again. I'm totally lost as to what's bothering him now?

Chan- How is Kade doing??? I see you were still battling, but I am sure things will get better. Do you not think he has been so scared of lying down because of the pain he needs to learn all over again to just relax and sleep?

Suriya, Glad all is well.

Ster- What else do you do with the sleep training and how is it going? I have also considered propping bottle cos right now I am in a bad habit. I put him on his bed and I lie with him while he feeds and we both fall alseep. Not great. LOL! And yeah I was thinking about being pregnant this time last year, and it made me TOO broody!!! LOL!

Suhaila- where art though????

Vix, Chris, Twinbee,Binks- hope all is well :-)

As for us, well Jordyn is fine- STILL NO TEETH, STILL NOT CRAWLING! Oh and STILL hates texture when it come to food. Ladies seriously, should I worry if he is still gagging and refusing certain new things? Some texture porridge, and foods?

Oh my gosh- He is also so into waking up REALLY early and I need to try get him to change that. Its hard when you have to work. He goes down at around 6pm at night and then wakes between 10-2 for one feed. then sleeps til about 4 am. Then its tickets and he is awake. I can handle 5 or 5.30 but 4am??? Any ideas?????????
