Morning! My post also vanished from yesterday. Been booked off work this whole week. Feeling a bit more human today. Can't believe how sick i've been. I've never been that sick before and a temp of 40 degrees! At least the antibiotic seems to be working now. Now i've got 3 huge fever blisters on my top lip. And can't use the cream because it's absorbed into your body! It never rains but pours! Marie congrats on another little boy!

My Safeway Monza was also R800 and that is 0-18kg but yes, those are the ones that must stay in the car so a bit impractical for small sleeping babies in my opinion but a snug and safe is only R300 and will last til 9kg so worth the investment in my mind. I loved that wherever i went i didn't have to wake baby up every time i got out the car!

SexyHexy- the long lists that i posted i gave to my friends for baby shower gift ideas, then what I'll do is check everything off that i get and go out shopping for the rest after. I figured that way i might actually not have too much to buy myself and not too many doubles. I am just buying the big stuff myself but even clothes I'm avoiding buying because i know everyone loves to give baby clothes at a baby shower.

I might do all the big bit shopping at the plaza towards the ends of my pregnancy, my mum wants to take me out and buy some things but i told her i first want to see what i will get at my shower.

Chris- it's nice that you choose to see those resemblances to your mother as positive things, I'm sure she would be so proud of you right now! You come across as such a strong woman!

Morning everyone :)

Vix...thanx for the list. Will be referring to it often ;)

Re baby monitor...I don't think I will be buying one :S Will then have to buy a regular one plus the plug in...and for me personally that is a bit expensive. We wanna do the nursery as well, so for now I will be buying the pram, the car seats, cot bedding and then paint and stuff for the nursery. Oh yeah, and bottles. Like my friend said, I will get so much at my babyshower, so after that I will buy what I still need :) Don't want to go and buy stuff that I don't really need...if you know what I mean?

How was your w/end ladies? I realised that I only get that dull pain in my lower abdomen when I'm sitting at work...didn't really have it over the w/end...and I'm going to go draw blood today...testing for HIV and blood type and all that stuff :S And I want to test my BP once a week...just to be on the safe side.

WOW....looks like spring might be here after all...yesterday was a fulll 32degrees here :woohoo:

Hi Chris

Just wanted to share :)
The mommy I helped with her triplets, she is so tiny!!!!! I first saw her 7 weeks after her babies were born and my word this women looked like an athlete!! I felt very fat next to her

I didnt see her pregnant, but the domestic worker says even at 33 weeks, she looked like she was full term with only 1 baby. Apparently she never looked like she was carrying more than 1 baby!!
So perhaps you'll be the same?? lucky lucky!!!!
Her babies were born at 33 weeks 4 days. She decided to take them out then as apparently she was fed up and tired. They weighed 1.6, 1.6 and 1.5 so those are good weights!! They just stayed in NICU to gain weight and one struggled to suck properly. Otherwise all was fine!

They are 7 months old now and just too cute for words! I dont even remember them being so tiny!
