Morning ladies!

I'm SO sick again! Feel like my head's about to explode! Can't breathe through my nose at all and my cough is so bad it hurts like hell. Phoned gynae this morning and he said I must go back to GP because my chest sounds so bad and get another antibiotic. ARGH!!

We've decided on the name Kade for our little man!

Sterretjie i'm so sorry you couldn't see the sex! Jeez I would be going mad! When we went for our 16 week scan gyane said if we didn't see the sex I could come back in 2/3 days and he'd check again free of charge. Thank goodness we saw really clearly!

Chris my belly is also bordering on popping anytime now! Kyra thinks it's the funniest thing ever! Keeps poking it and laughing!

Our 4D scans are done at 27/28 weeks?? My gynae also recommended 28 weeks.

Sterretjie, your POA with saying you dont want to find out now (in the hope that baby does show) is a good idea!

The lady at the 3/4D said that th ebest time for me to go back for scan is at 26w , definately wont be seeing much if i go later than that.

wrt movement, I feel the babies, but have not felt definate hard kicks, I feel some action going inside and a poke here and there, but I haven't felt it with my hand for definate, I think I felt 2 about a week ago, strange, maybe I must concentrate more! I sit with my top up and my belly button moves like waves, it is so cool to watch, we sit and just stare.

Has anyones belly buttons popped out. I think mine is about to, its half in, half out, when I lie down and watch my tummy, I push it in then it moves around, its so cute.

Marie, I think it was you who asked about the plaza, the shop is in the dome, up escalators, towards the back, there are about 3 baby shops there.

SexyH, I also often get the pain, should I say sometimes dont get the pain so basically have it most of the day. Belly also feels bruised at times but definatly cos of the growing, espcially where my belly button is, you know when something is stuck in one postion and everything around it forces it to move, it feels like that, lol, if that makes sense.

Ladies, has anyone been to the ackermans at eastgate? They have such a huge selection of baby clothes (I must say alot more girls than boys), but they have alot, its by far, the best one I have been to, and its big. Went past there yesterday to change/get stuff for baby shower and I was so tempted to get an aout or 2 for babies, but there was just too much to choose from and landed up not taking anything. I also dont want to get now anyway cos I'll get from babyshower, but it was just soooo tempting I did walk out with those nappy cloths for me.

Vix, I have anomoly scan next wednesday (1 Sept) and then 20th after that.

Has anyone decided on names already?

Thanks Vix - I think (at this point of time) I will wait patiently. I might change my mind in a week or two but I told DH last night that maybe we must now say that we do not want to know and then when we go for our next scan on the 4th he/she will be laying there legs wide open

Yip, the lady also told me best pics are between 28 - 32 weeks, and I said I don't care about photos, I just wanna see the sexes LOL So later on I will book 3/4D scan again. The Medi Clinic where my gynie is doesn't do 3/4D's, so I won't get a freebie when booking a bed at that hospital

I also thought I would feel movements alot sooner with my 2nd pregnancy. With Thashreya I felt movements from 14 weeks. However this baby is not as active as Thashreya. I only started feeling him move from about 18 weeks.

Now and then i feel kicks and some movements but not as much as Thashreya.

Vix...I think that makes perfect sense...scar tissue from previous C-sec...all bruised up inside and now have to stretch extra for the twins...And that is it...I feel tender inside. I think I'm just being paranoid since they are in one sack and it is a high risk But yes, everything has been good so far, so I must just keep on believing they are fine Thanks for the pep talk!

i went with my 1st LO at 28w and the pics weren't great, she said it was slightly too early so this time i was planning on going about 31w, except now i have the twins i can't go too late or there won't be space to see them so we're going at 28w again.

but like i said, if you desperately want to know the sex then you can try and find someone who will just charge for sexing, you won't be able to see beautiful facial features so early but they will definately be able to see the genitals which is why they only charge a small fee.
