Jan/Feb 2011 Mommies (Nov & Dec 2010 early babes)

Okay, reconfirmed again (3rd time lucky). My 4D scan is booked for when I am 32weeks and 6 days. According to the lady at Clinton Hospital it is the best time to come as you get clear pictures? Apparently when the 4D scan is done too early the pics are not clear. The lady that I have spoken to the second time obviously got her dates mixed up. So my appointment is the 18th of November.

yeah it sounds like it is the uterus stretching, i have had all kinds of funny aches and pains come and go this time around that I don't remember from my last pregnancy. between 12 &16w i had a very bruised feeling all the way up the centre of my tummy, that went and now i have like pre period aches down low. i was getting bad cramps round my lower back and lower front too but that went. I definately think it must be firstly because it's a second pregnancy it's stretching differently and also now there are 2 so it must stretch at twice the rate!

there's been nothing wrong with your babies so far, their growth has been perfect so i wouldn't stress, I'm sure it's all to do with the uterus. Also i said to DH, there must be a lot of scar tissue inside from the previous C-sec and now everything has to stretch again and it puts strain on the scar tissue. i definitely feel most tender inside about where the internal scars would be!

Vix...it is a dull ache...it has been there for like forever now...so don't know if it is my uterus that is growing? Grrrr.....

oh no Sterretjie!!!!!! it's usually only up to 33w after that they won't see much because baby will be too big! it's actually from 28-33w. re check! but you can always just book an early 4D to see the sex, sometimes they charge a small fee like with SexyHexy R150

Vix, I have booked my 4D scan that is included in the Stork's Nest package. According to the lady at Stork's Nest they only start with 4D scans at 33 weeks?
I also thought of doing a 4D scan where you pay R600 but what if we still cannot see the sex - then I would rather wait patiently and use the R600 towards the baby room.
This is obviously making up for the fact that I have had a great pregnancy so far - no morning sickness etc - so maybe I should just be grateful that everything is going well so far and just wait. I waited 6 years to fall pregnant so what is another couple of weeks then to find out the sex? Everything will then just have to be natural colours LOL

Ok...I can't remember with Jayden when I felt movement first. I have felt the bubble-effect, but even that is gone now.
