question-circle What worked for you - what didn't?

We installed a heating panel in LG's room because when she woke up in the morning her hands were icy. Working brilliantly and safe (I hope).
The woolies baby wash is so nice. Oh and the winter grows at Woolies with the zips are horrible. You basically wind up completely undressing baby to change a nappy.

Another thing that was a waste for me was the bumbo seat.
With Jaydon, I used it all the time, but with Kyle, it was a waste.By the time he was old enough (+-3 months) he was too fat to fit in it. If we put him in, we couldnt get him out. His legs would get stuck.

I just used a pillow at feeding times.

Although I didnt use my U-Shaped breast feeding pillow for breast feeding, I did use it for tummy time when Kyle was getting ready to crawl. I held him in the right position and was nice and soft on his tummy

I also got a lot of use out of that U-shaped pillow that you use for breastfeeding. It was great, as it just slotted in the right position, and you could pull it around your body to suit.

I also used it to prop baby up when she could not sit up, and she would lie on it.

I was given a green/white checked one with my 2nd pregnancy, and used it then and with the 3rd one. Really useful.

I think it is also referred to as a "donkey" - I have seen them more regularly as of late.

A friend of mine said the same thing. She also said that when you turn over in bed you take the duvet with you. I just used scatter cushions from my couch. One under my belly and the other between my knees.
