oh, and i'm really struggling to know exactly how many packs of nappies are enough to last us at least the first month or so, and wet wipes as well. could someone please please help me. yesterday i bought 1 small paeck of the pampers newbaby and 1 pack of the huggies new baby (light blue pack), well that was just for the hospital stay. then i bought a Jumbo pack of pampers newbaby (no.2 - theere are 94 nappies in the pack).

so would it be wise for me to buy another jumbo no.2 or what should i do now?

thanks ladies!

now tell me, has anyone ever bought/used a carrycot? it's that thing that looks like a sleeping bag - but it's big and it has handles for you to carry baby. i really dunno if it's worth it or not....

oh, and how many breast pads are needed? and what's best, disposable or washable?

Hi Ladies...

What Worked:

- Definitely the Angelcare monitor...
- Lots and lots of body vests with the studs
- Huggies Gold
- Bath Ring for when they are older (from 6 months when they can sit unsupported)
- My Skip-hop baby bag (love love love this: looks smallish from the outside but fits so much and lots of handy pockets :)

Regret that I didnt have a photoshoot either :(

I agree with Joli on that seat thingy. I used it in the baby bath when Kyle was a newborn and now I use it on the bathroom counter. I put a towel over it and when I take Kyle out tehbig bath, I lay him down to wrap him.

Waste of money for me, Big pram and a playgym.
worked for me, Jolly jumper, baby sleeping bag and a chest of drawers.

Girly you won't be sorry. That's Kayla there (she's turning 7 this year!!). I never take pics of them all naked, except the bum :-).

That thing was a life saver when I was a single mom! You got your hands free to get the stuff you need etc. If you want you can put in into a flat (not shaped) baby bath as well.

Joyous - if your baby is longer than 50cm then you can use it so we did from birth. The woolies one is fine.

girly we bathed dylan in the kitchens prep bowl. It waa perfect as we can push the sput right out of the way and it was infront of a big window with lots of sun. He could see outside which settled him.

I am with joli on the bath thingy when they are a bit older. FABULOUS

woolies maternity bras were not supportive enough. I wear size D and became a DD!!!

I love my baby bear car wrap and poncho

Joli thanks!
You're not the first to have mentioned this so I'll add it to my list.

Your girl is too adorable! And love the strategically placed facecloth :)
