Hi everyone,
I hope you are doing ok - sorry its been a while, just a bit rubbish I think.
Adele, I hope you are staying strong and hanging in there,
2KM, I hope you are feeling better - I too have been feeling super down in the dumps - I have an added complication in that I don't know if its pregnancy hormones or unresolved grief being made worse by pregnancy hormones and I don't really know what to do about it.
I lost my fiance suddenly (he died infront of me aged 36 years old) 3 years ago, 2 months before our very planned wedding - and it was one of the hardest things ever, I also lost our baby the same day - although I was only around 6 weeks pregnant the shock of it all must have triggered it.
I thought I was doing ok and am happy in my relationship with my new angel and we are excited about our new arrival - it seems to have come full circle and finally good things are starting to happen after a horrible few years, however just lately it seems to have caught up with me again. The guilt (ie being pregnant with someone other than Josh's baby) just missing him terribly, thinking I've truly betrayed him by trying to move on, and even (I'm ashamed to say) comparing my relationship now to what Josh and I had then.
The worst part is I can't really speak to my other half about this - if you see what I mean. And no matter how much I am happy to be with him and tell him, by me telling him this he really is going to start doubting himself and I don't want that.
Arrggghhhh - its complicated. I'm in tears most days. Do you think its the hormones just making things worse???
Anyway, sorry for the little rant.
Stacey, we are also waiting to see if our house goes through - fingers crossed however we can only move in July - I am due 20th June - not ideal as you can imagine! I hope things work out in April for you.
To all you second time mommies, I need to go shopping but have no idea what I need to buy- any advice? I have read most new mums buy far too much, I don't want to do that but not quite sure what to buy a dead of winter baby! I have about 20 legless longsleeved babygrows

a bit pointless as I will now have to go buy leggings!
What are the things you could and could not live without, and things you wish you had never bought??
Hope you're all having a good week
Ps - I am Michele de Kock on facebook however don't use it too often!
