Enjoy your weekend Gals. I'm just taking it easy. My mind is starting to settle a little after all that has been going on and I am hoping to just relax.

enjoy your weekend away AdeleF. MichelleJvv, I am so stoked that Rebecca is growing so well. 10 weeks shew, that's just around the corner.

To all the rest of the ladies, come chat a bit, this thread has gone awefully quiet.

Hi Everyone,

Thank goodness it is Friday.

Firefly, how are you doing?

Stacey, I hope you are enjoying your visit with your Mom!

2kidmamma, Happy that Standard Bank is willing to help. At least you have a little less to worry about now!

MichelleJvv, Wow, It's great that Rebecca is growing so nicely!

I have a busy weekend ahead. My husband's family is coming to visit, so I'll have a overfull house from tonight. They want us to do a 4x4 Trail tomorrow, and Sunday we will be off to Marikana for my husband's grandmothers birthday.

And I am exhausted. To the point that I do not feel it is normal. Luckily I have my gynae appointment on Monday, so I'll ask him if he cannot give me anything for energy. So, no matter what - I will be sleeping in tomorrow morning. Everything else will just have to wait!

At least it should be an interesting weekend.

Hi all, hope you're all well out there... @2km woohoo for Standard Bank!! So glad they are helping.

Had my appointment with Dr Mahomed this morning and madame Rebecca is weighing 1.9kgs!!!!!!!! Dr feels that we're heading for a 4kg baby... we chatted about the birth a little and I made it very clear that I will be going natural and that a c-section is only an option if its an emergency- not that I have anything against c-sections but I have a chronic phobia about needles and they would literally have to strap me down to be able to come anywhere near me with a needle. She did say though that if Rebecca is going to go over the 4kg mark before her due date of 29 April, she would rather that I come in and be induced to make things easier for myself, but she leaves the choice up to me.

So 10 weeks to go now  ... suddenly feeling a little unprepared!!

Morning all

Just wanted to let you know that Standard Bank is helping me out. I am so relieved you have no idea. Thank you MichelleV for giving me that little bit of positive assurance about the fact that they helped you, I was sceptical before that. So basically I am just thanking each and everyone of you for your support and kind words of encouragement. It's been a real life saver! Although the situation is not ideal, it's so much better that what it was, it's a step in the right direction and I feel I can go on now.

Lots of love all.

2kmm, sorry to hear about the fall and feeling sick - hope you're feeling better now. Your scan and belly pics look great though :) Scan is so clear. As for your belly - I think your bump is a bit bigger than mine (though that's understandable as you're on #3 and I'm on #1) but apart from the bump, it really doesn't look like you've picked up pregnancy weight anywhere else - which is awesome :) I'm paranoid my face, arms and legs are going to start blowing up soon in proportion to my tummy!

Adele, pity about the niggles. I know how you feel about baby's strength - my boy sometimes gets very active, like he is body slamming me, lol! One night I couldn't fall asleep, kept feeling like he was doing 180degree jump turns inside me.

Michelle - the movements NOW sometimes feel like bubbles and butterflies, but it was definitely only like muscles spasms for a few weeks. My dh can feel the movement occasionally but we find that the most effective is him putting his ear on my belly - even though dh can't feel baby move, he can actually hear his kicks :) My dh loves it, he talks to baby and baby kicks back.

Ladies, I have developed a kidney stone! Apparently it happens sometimes during pregnancy, because of the changes in your body and also because the uterus can put pressure/squeeze the kidneys and other organs. I am, thankfully, not in pain (which the doctors and nurses can't seem to understand). We only picked it up because I had blood in my urine and so the doctor ordered a renal ultrasound to rule out a stone. I am under instructions to drink lots of fluids to try pass the stone naturally - please pray that it passes and it remains pain-free for me!

AdeleF wrote: Hi Everyone,

Just a quick question, with my daughter I never had any milk to breastfeed. My doctor said he could prescribe me something later in my pregnancy to stimulate the milk. Have any of you tried it before? Do you know if it works?

Anyway, I better get to work. It's been quite a busy day for me.

Just a quick reply AdeleF. Thanks for the compliment I appreciate it. About the Milk. I had no milk with my Duaghter and nobody told me I could take something to help it. With my Son my Gyne prescribed Eglynol or Esperide (Both the same) while I was in hospital on the first day and I started taking it. I was able to Breastfeed for about 3 months and always had milk. I would highly recommend it, it's also an anti anxiety drug so it really helped with those baby blues big time. I think you should ask for it while you are in hospital to really get the milk going then just FEED FEED FEED as much as you can. Not every 3 hours, feed absolutely on demand and if you have to then express inbetween to keep the milk producing.
