Maj, your little girl is just gorgeous!! All that hair!!! Hahaha my baby has lots of hair but not nearly that much!! What pump are you using? I started with a snookums electric one which worked nice but I struggled a bit then someone told me to buy a clicks manual one for very cheap! I did and was amazed at how much I am getting out! I think I am also going to give Connor Avo, sweet potato and paw paw this week and see how it goes! :P I also skipped the cereal altogether. Read too many stories of sugar loaded cereals! Connor's feeds has also reduced from a 25min plus feeds to 5-15min feeds lol I just think they drink faster now.

Jay-bee, I started with butternut and baby loved it... I just steamed it and then mashed it very fine for the first week just so he can get used to having actual food in his mouth :P Then I added later in the day a teaspoon of apple (red apple that I also steamed and pureed)

@ Maj and Sons your babies are gorgeous!! I have started cereal about a week ago with just one teaspoon in the morning and going to be starting the veg this weekend for lunch. What veg did you start with? Butternut or sweet potato or something else?

I started solids at the beginning of the month, when my LG turned 5 months. She was literally grabbing food out of my hands!
I started with about 2 tspns once a day, and increased the amount. From next week I'll give her lunch and dinner.
I was also keen to do baby led weaning but was also a bit concerned about choking. So I have just kept the food quite chunky instead.
She has had carrots, apple, banana, avo (she didn't like it), butternut and sweet potato. I gave her some paw paw, which was great. I have skipped the cereals all together and will introduce it later on.
None of us eat pear, so I haven't given her any.

The 80ml was when she slept through a feed!! Her feeds are literally 5 mins though!

Here is a pic of my daughter!

Hi Maj!

Yes he is 6 months old today!! Cannot believe time flew so quickly!! I started Connor on 1 teaspoon of solids morning and afternoon two weeks ago!
Today he eats two teaspoons of apple in the morning and two teaspoons of butternut or carrot in the afternoon! He LOVES it lol!! I am planning to increase his foodies as the weeks pass by and introduce more different veggies and fruit! I read about baby lead weaning but so unsure about giving my baby chunks of food so scared for choking!!

I pump less milk over the weekends as Connor drinks on me the whole day then. At work I pump more out per session. I think 80ml after breastfeeding is very good!! wow!

When are you starting solids and what you going to give?? I am not to sure what food I am going to give after apple/butternut/carrot lol! I tried pear but I think it gave him cramps!

Hi Sonsbaby.

What a cutie!!
Is he 6 months already? Have you started on solids?

I don't envy the pumping! It's such a mission!
I pumped a bottle the other night, and I only got 80ml!!
But my daughter has a feed every 2 hours so maybe that's why there is less milk?!

Hallo Ladies,

Hope you are all well!! I see its gone very quiet here lol! I have not been on the forum for ages!! Baby kept mommy so busy! I am now back at work for a week already and must say I miss my baby so much it hurts  If I had half a chance I would be a stay at home mommy!!

I am still pumping milk out for my baby at work but its a struggle. Pumping is not easy!! I get now about 120ml per session out sometimes 150ml. So I need to pump three times a day to get enough milk for my baby boy! Then from the time I get home to just before I have to leave for work he drinks from me. Any excellent pumping tips or to increase milk supply?

Little Connor is doing very well and has two brand new toothies now :P :P

Latest pic of my sweetie pie  !
