Hallo ladies,
@MTC - so glad to hear from you again and to see that you are well. Lovely pics. Your bump is cute.
My C-section is booked for 12 April @ 10h00.

The list is a brilliant idea!
We have a wedding on tomorrow but wont be able to stay too long as we have to pick up my husbands niece from the airport at about 9h30 pm. She will be visiting from Cape Town for the school holiday. I can see myself getting fed up with having too many people around as we will also have my SIL for easter.

And I still have some stuff that I need to do for the baby. But I am thankful for family
Seeing that I am a second time mom, and that I had so many clothes with my first born that we never used etc, I have decided to make a list of what we have per age group. I must say it has been such a clever idea as I can now see what I need to buy and how many. I dont want to end up with too much unused clothes again.
@MamaK - I also feel like that somedays - when I just want to be a baby and I just want my mom around. You must enjoy the time with your mom.
@Maj - I know what you are talking about when you say hubby and daughter forgets that you are pregnant. The same happens at my house. It is so much different and harder for second time moms. You still have to care for the other child and cant simply go and lie down when you are tired.
I am just as tired - so I am so happy that it is weekend and that there is an extra day. My maternity leave has been booked to start end of March, so there is not alot of working days left but I still have so much to do. I will probably still come in for half days in April up to due date. Atleast the afternoons can give me some time to rest.
I have really been struggling with pins and needles and pains in my hands. I have been reading up on it and it seems like it is Carpal tunnel syndrome - a painful condition of the hand and fingers caused by compression of a major nerve where it passes over the carpal bones through a passage at the front of the wrist. Caused by continual repetitive moments or by fluid retention.
PS: all of that came from google - I am not that clever at explaining medical stuff. I think all the repetitive movements while painting all my furniture and waxing them has caused it and I am also retaining a lot of fluid. It is only in my right hand and it gets worse at night. It is nothing to worry about - just another pregnancy symptom.
