GIb & CDLK: Let us know how your scans go? I always look so forward to the next one, actually wishing the weeks away between the scans.

Sonsbaby: Shame, don't let it get to you. I know how sensitive we can be at this time with increased weight gain and our bellies. Some people just don't see it the way we do. I'm sure your brother was only coming from a good place. Maybe the book was aimed for post-pregnancy when all mommies want to get back to their pre-pregnancy weight. I had a lady that works with me, telling me 2 weeks ago that I'm getting large. I was very upset about it so, do understand where you are coming from.

Has anyone considered cord blood storage? Out of curiosity I went into Netcells website and nearly fell on my back when I saw it costs R10500!!

Ok so yesterday I was so upset with my brother! He gave me a belated birthday gift and when I opened it I saw he gave me a low carb diet recipe book! I felt so crappy what was he trying to say....instantly preggie moods kicked in (I managed not to say anything to him but had a good old cry about it at home)! After that I kinda felt insecure about my belly

@Inca - we will just be at home this holiday. Want to try and get a few things done around the house although my heart and mind is aching for the coast!
@Sonsbaby - jip jungle juice is the bomb and very tasty. Drank it for 5 months on maternity leave with my son. It does get a bit expensive but it really helps with energy levels as well. I would drink it again with my daughter now

@Sonsbaby: Apparently that stuff is awesome. My sister in law was drinking that stuff while she was breast feeding and no issues. She had to stop breast feeding after 1 month though as she developed mastitis which then led to an abscess which had to get surgically drained.

As this is my first baby I am pretty much clueless when it comes to all this...

@CDLK: Just love your bump! So cute!!! Can't wait to have a proper bump. Am 17 weeks tomorrow and barely have any bump.
We're off to the Drakensberg next Wednesday with my in-laws for 5 days, then off to Durban for 2 days to see my Mom. We'll be back home by New Year's though. Are you going away?

@Sonsbaby: Glad all went well with the specialist. That is super awesome that they have confirmed the sex of the baby

@gib: At the half way mark. So exciting!

@licious: I use Gaviscon. Works really well and I get instant relief.

@Jay-Bee: So envious that you're on leave already! You must enjoy it M last day of work will be next Tuesday the 22nd

We are also going for our 20 week scan on Thursday
