Hi there ladies

Hope you are well! So nice to see everyone who had their scans and that everything is going well.

I have felt movements from about 17 weeks but it's becoming stronger now, just love it!

I'm still busy at work thank goodness we are closing on Thursday and we are also seeing gynae Thursday for our 20w scan. Is everyone going on holiday?

I'm attaching a pic of my now much larger belly...lol

Good morning ladies!!

Its been a very busy weekend with no time to myself lol! We went to the specialist in Pretoria my nerves was on edge but it went so well!! What a lovely specialist!! She explained everything so well the whole time! She checked baby from head to toe and I must say their equipment is sooo much better than a normal gynea's! B)

All in all the baby is 100% fine and growing as it should! We scored very low on the down syndrome as well so now we can rest a little bit more easy! OH YES....almost forgot lol....ITS A BOY!!!!

It took me also a while to start feeling baby move around...this little boy seems lazy at the moment :P . It feels like he stretches allot so it feels like a pressure movement just below my bellybutton but have been feeling tiny kicks the last two days such excitement!!

@licious...I only use gavascon when I get heartburn which has started the last week! I know there is a few things they say that helps heartburn that you can use when pregnant but not sure if they work that well...ginger, pineapple, almonds, aloe water, coconut water or try using soda water?

Now to hunt for a name for our little one!! :woohoo:

I have been feeling flutters for a few weeks but as of yesterday also the occasional little gentle kick. I have an anterior placenta so doc did say it would take me a bit longer to feel anything.

Sorry to hear you had to go through that MomToChloe. Did your doctor not give you a reason why you had been labelled high risk? I would be furious if I had to go through that stress for no reason.
