Hi everybody! Hope you and your bumps all had a happy healthy festive season. I am well though not loving this heat wave! Normally I love summer but give me a winter pregnancy anytime. Feel like I am melting!

Back at work part time this week then full time again from next week.

Lots of love to you all x

Hi Ladies,

I also got back to the office today, am not feeling it!

@sonsbaby, not good news about the gynea. 40 mins is not too bad, but if its gonna stress you, rather look a getting a new gynea, and try them out. If you not happy/comfortable, then at least you know you have explored that option.
I changed gynea and was much happier!!

I also have a growing bum! Its awful!

Good Morning Moomies

@Sonsbaby 40min is not that bad compared to start afresh with a new gynae... I once read a women travelling from PTA to Bloem to give birth there. but go with something you are comfortable with.

I am back at work, I found a pile of paperwork. I wont rush myself I am gonna take my time and do them. I went to Limpopo for holidays....shuuuu it was terribly hot and no network coverage.. we had a great time though.

Good morning ladies!

Happy new year to you all! Hope the new year brings lots of happiness!

I went for another checkup yesterday by my gynea I'm now 23 weeks and 4 days! All is well with our little boy! :woohoo: My tummy is growing allot...as well as my bum it seems  My gynea gave me the unsettling news that he is moving...to Sandton beginning March! It's a bit out of the way for me as I stay about 40min away from Sandton now I have to decide if I want to stay with him meaning I'll have to go to a Sandton hospital to deliver or go to a new gynea! Can cry really!

Hi Ladies

I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas and holiday. I am on leave and there is hardly any signal so logging onto the internet is such a challenge. My boepie is growing so nicely and I have been craving ice cream hmm. I think i might have felt a kick a few days ago but not sure, really hope the kicking starts soon.

Enjoy the holidays and will catch up with all you ladies in the new year :)

@ sonsbaby, take advantage of your MIL not letting you do anything. Its only for 2 weeks so use it as an opportunity to laze around for a bit! You wont get the chance later ;)
I also have the teeth grinding moments with my MIL! Aah well, at least we dont have to live with them all the time......

We dont have many superstitions, just a lot of traditions, concoctions to drink and eat during labour and after. Not leaving the house (except were completely necessary) until you stop bleeding  :tmi:

Natural Birth
I did not know about this soft seat thing!
Kegal exercises of course
perineal massage (i think i might have spelt this incorrectly!)
just getting into the right space of mind, so meditation, clearing your world of negativity
watching lots of hypnobirths, and avoiding the scary screaming types of births!
doing squats & exercises to make sure you are strong.

Have a wonderful and joyful Christmas
