A quick question ladies

Dylan's hands shake alot. He can do really fine things with his fingers like remove screws etc but I still worry a bit. Do any of your kids also have this problem?

Good Morning one and all

I wasn't involved with everything that went on last week so I'm not even going to comment, all I will say is that I hope we can all move on together :)

Glad to hear everyone had a good Mother's day. Ally I was thinking about you yesterday, it must be such a hard day for you, I'm glad you have such a loving family.

I was spoilt rotten, Theo made us a lovely cooked breakfast and I got my first ever proper Mother's Day present, a beautiful silver charm bracelet with two charms, a butterfly from Nina and ladybug from Oliver - Theo said the butterfly because Nina started off as a little worm/caterpillar and came out as a beautiful little butterfly and then the Ladybug Oliver picked himself, he loooooves them and always points them out in books etc so it was very sweet and I was so happy, Theo's been pretty useless and I've been a bit disappointed with Mother's day before so I was really chuffed. At least now they'll never be stumped as to what to get me for gifts hehehe :)

Lelani - Its so nice to see/read you again!! I'm so sorry you're having a rough time with M and C at the mo. Don't feel bad, its not your fault for 'letting it get like this', it takes two to tango and you can't be entirely responsible. it can't be an easy situation to be in and I honestly don't know what to suggest. Maybe therapy would help, if you can afford it then maybe there's no harm in giving it a try...?

Lisha - Not to scare you lol, we flew with Oliver when he was 14 months it was a night flight but he didn't sleep the entire flight (also Calpol and Nurofen didn't work)! It actually wasn't too bad, I echo Lelani's words of making sure you pack plenty of food, even if you don't use it at least you have :) As S is quite small you might be lucky enough that he fits into a bassinet, I think the weight limit is around 13kg so if he's smaller than that then try request that cos then he can sleep on the little table in front of you and can lay out flat.

Nicole - Sorry you and DH had a fall out, sucks first thing in the morning as it gets your day off to a bad start, hope you get it sorted.

Nelria - So nice to hear from you!! Lol at Brett wanting more action hehehe, its a tough life hey?! Glad to hear you're settling in but goodness you sound so busy, you must be shattered!

Zee - Hoping for a better week for you and that Z has a better week at her new school.

Simone - Love the Happy you Day, man Addy is too clever!

Sorry hitting a blank now

Oliver hasn't had a poo since Friday as he hasn't been in a nappy except for bedtime and he will NOT poo on the potty or toilet, hoping he has one with my mum today otherwise I think I'm going to have to give him a suppository when I get home, eish really hoping it doesn't come to that.

Nina is teething like a mofo, its awful!!! I barely new when Oliver was cutting a tooth so its come as a bit of a shock to the system. She's quite obviously pretty uncomfortable with it and its totally disrupting her sleep which sucks and she's permanenetly chomping down on something and dribbling all over the place and blowing bubble the whole time. I can't believe this is only her second tooth and we still have so many more to go, yikes!

Ok I must get back to work, will try reply again later. X x X

Lisha Shrey sounds too cute for words. Flip our kids are way too edible these days. Wow not long to go before your holiday. It is going to be amazing. I am sure Shrey will be fine on the plane.

Nicole sorry about your argument this morning. Hope things settle.

Lelani my friend, so pleased you opened up here so that we can support you. Therapy is always good. I believe we either need to change the situation, or we need to accept it. Accepting is harder , but we sometimes have no option. You are under strain so no wonder you have a short fuse. It is really hard to be cool and calm and collected when in a tough situation. There is a book called between parnet and child. It is such a great read and will give you tools that will help you deal with your hot headed teenager.

Ally sorry mother's day bears such sadness for you xxx hope in years to come it becomes a little easier.

Lelani thanks for sharing your sils experience with the flights. Hope Shrey does fall asleep at some point seeing that it goes into our night time. Will be sure to pack some of his favourite things into his bag, unfortunately Buzz probably won't be allowed on but hope he'll be okay with his Tigger and some of his favorite cars, books and trains.
We leave on 3 June.

So sorry to hear that you've been going through a tough time at home. Really hope the therapy helps and heals my friend xxx

ok back to me....
Have been wanting to chat to you girls about this for so long, but was worried that m would come read-up on me, but have decided that so be it....you girls are my support group....yes, yes i know... Stop being a cheap skate & go for therapy...but here goes....

Me & m have been fighting for more then a month now...it got so bad at one stage that if i had the money, i would've gotten a divorce :-(
i'm so sick & tired of rather just leaving stuff that upsets me!!! But everytime i bring something up esp about the kids....it's just always a fight grrrr
i'm so tired of fighting, but also so frustrated :-(
his really harsh with c sometimes & it really hurts so much & then i get too soft with her because i feel sorry for her witch is just making things worse coz then she gets out of hand.....my 11 year old was screaming at me yesterday morning when i got upset about her room....she's a very hot blooded girl, but never has she screamed at me....i was so upset & even more coz i couldn't speak to m about it, coz then his even worse with her :-(

i know i'm also wrong in alot of things & i get so frustrated with m & then scream at him which just makes him freak again & know chanel is learning to do this :-( i feel like shit for letting things get to this :-(
just wish us being happy was more then just biting my lip & lots of sex!!!

I'm considering going for therapy with chanel.....
Dont think it will really help with m coz his very set in his ways & is one hell of a good talker, but i'm so hurt when i see how he sometimes treats chanel.

Wish i just had a magic wand that would fix things!!!!

Girls who i've spoken to about this.....thank you so much for being there for me & listening without judging!!!!!

2km, so sorry for all the added stress you going through, i would also be trowing my toys if that happened. What about maby getting youre son & caretaker to go to a play group 2/3 times a week, then he'll have the best of both worlds ;-)
goodluck xxxx

ct mommies, meet on the 21st????
Cant wait!!!!
Hope to see you al there!!! That's including you 2km!!!

Lisha, s sounds so cute!!!! Love these boys being so in love with there mommies!!!
When you going on holiday??

O yes, re travelling..... My sil took a one way flight....so luckily no cross overs, but her advise was:
make sure you get enough rest before the flight....there son is turning 2 in june, so a bit younger then ours but he didn't sleep for the entire 11 hour flight!!! Not even 2 doses of calpol did anything to him.
Then make sure you take snax & toys that he knows along. They had big crying fits about him not wanting to eat the airolplanes food. he didn't want to colour in with there crayons, didn't want to play with there toys....
So just make sure with the airline what you can take along.
With there flight back it went alot better :-)

nicole, hope you & dh can sort things out xxx
goodluck for the day!!!! I know how horrible a persons day is with a fight looming :-(
