HI ladies.

Mandy, glad you and Vix sorted it out. It was never really any of our business, I think most of us are relatively opinionated and I know I for one jump into things too quickly. C always says I should've been born Lebanese cause I like a good fight lol.

Zee, sorry for your bad week. Sending lots of good vibes your way that next week is better! :)

So today we have my brother's birthday party and their one friend is also celebrating a bday so they're having the party together. I have been instructed to bake a cake and NOW my SIL sms' to say there are going to be 62 people at the party! I mean for crying in a bucket! I'm making a 3-tier cake and that's all. Then she says it's more for the thought! WTF?!??! So I'll write the thought down on paper and show it to my brother. FFS!

I really don't mind doing things like this but then at least tell me upfront and don't tell me that half the people won't want to eat it anyway. Then it's a waste! I'm thinking of maybe anyway just doing cupcakes coz they take me 15 minutes to do. Can you tell I'm grumpy?

Hi everyone

Glad you and Vix sorted it out, Mandy. You are both special to us and we certainly don’t want to lose either of you on the thread ...

Any hoo, I had a bad week ... okay, Wednesday when I fetch Z at school, her eye looked terrible, so my mom came to visit and she stayed with her at home. Took her to the doctor and she had a bacterial infection – doctor said she probably caught it at school ...

Any hoo, Wednesday was baaaadddd at school. Z apparently cried and now refuses to go back so Monday is going to be interesting ... Luckily DH takes her in the morning!

And then I made a big mistake at work, really really bad and it made me sick literally. I can’t handle mistakes especially seeing it in print.

But enough about me, 2KM, I will definitely consider something else, because that is totally unacceptable! Hope you’ll find a solution that works for you and the kids. They are gorgeous.
Julz, enjoy the weekend, sounds nice.

Simone, think you are right about your mom being concerned because they are living with you … Hope you have a good talk.

I had to laugh today, my mom told me: ““My girl pregnancy certainly does not agree with you!” because I looked so bad!

Yoza, so happy for you that Siba is progressing! I’m sure the little man is still going to surprise you a lot.

Hope you enjoy the weekend, ladies, I’m going to a baby shower tomorrow. My friend struggled for years to fell pregnant and it eventually happened through in vitro. I’m so happy for her!

Mandy I am glad you and vix managed to have a good chat and sort things out.

2km my therapist no longer does child psychology but i am sure your paed would be able to give you a referral. Pity about hubby as I really do think that it is nice to get a full perspective. We tend look at things with an adult perspective when we should be looking at it from the child's perspective.

Your children are beautiful. x

I think a nice weekend break with friends and family will do me the world of good. Movies tonight, dinner party tomorrow night and then mother's day lunch on Sunday. Nice.

Neil has booked us a long weekend for his birthday at the Bontebok National park. It is a small park not too far from us and we cant wait. We have wanted to go for so long now.

Lisha and the ratings. Very funny. Glad we could give everyone some fun here. So should we announce it was a scam to see how many people we could draw into our soapie?

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Lisha: lol at the ratings of our thread.

2k: The lady who used to run our mums and babes had a three year old who went to daycare and out of the blue her daughter would cry everday when dropped of she thought is was phase but this continued for two months. She decided to take her daughter out of the daycare and stay at home. She was a stay at home mum but did nice side jobs. She tells me that her little one has been happy.

Only you can make an informed decision but I hope this story helps in a way. Siba goes to school half day and the nanny fetches her

Mandy: :) glad all is well
