Hi ladies

It has been so quiet here lately. Things have been hectic @ work, but managed to meet all me deadlines last week, so that was a major relif.

Lisha shame man i hope Cole is not getting sick again, i think the first 6 months of a kid in school is the worse. Then it gets alot better. K also swops between his right and left hand still. when he hits a ball or picks something up he will always use his right hand but when it comes to drawiing/painting/gluing he swops between the two. Im glad Shrey is adjusting so well :). I voted on that website last week i think when i was reading the indian chicken receipe - yum yum. Good Luck!

Ally nice to hear from you again, nice to hear that you and C are doing so well. The twins sound like they are doing fantastic at school. I think iv mentioned here before but when K is at home (weekends/holidays) he doesnt nap at all! He will eventually pass out though between 1830-19:00pm though.

All the other ladies, i hope you are all doing well. Come give us an update here :)

afm, all is well. Still on my mission to loose weight lol - have cut out bread/pasta/rice etc. I now only have a can of coke on Wednesday and Saturday (this from a person who use to have coke in the house 24/7) Also exercise 3x week for only 30 minutes thought at home, so hoping to see results soon.

K is doing very well and is sooo flipping funny, i am really loving this age. He is doing well at school and loving the extra activities. Dh and I went out for night on Saturday - it was lots of fun and K was very well behaved - he didnt even ask for us.

I hope everyone is keeping well.

Hi Girls.

wow, so quiet around here. I feel so bad that I'm not popping in more but I feel like there's just not enough hours in a day lately!

We are all very well. C and I are doing so well, not really sure what's going on with us but we are happier than ever so I'm not complaining. So lovey-dovey and just very much inlove.

The twins are doing very well at school. Aidan's not teary anymore and he's excited now in the mornings to get to school. They are doing very well with the afrikaans. Starting to speak more and more and getting some of it confused but it's so cute. Theyve had snot noses etc. but other than the tonsilitis 3 weeks ago they're both fine. Their teacher says they are both very clever and she is so chuffed with their imaginations and people skills so YAY! :) Although since they dont have their nap anymore they are quite difficult in the afternoons. They are fighting a lot but they refuse to nap at 1 when they come home and then want to sleep at 4! So we just keep them awake and feed them lol. They sometimes watch a movie and that keeps them calm.

Other than that, the blog is doing well. Re-designed the whole thing and it's much lighter and brighter. Go look and let me know what you think. simply-delicious.co.za/

And then, if you haven't yet, please will you go vote for my blog in the eat in awards? You can only vote once so no need to go back! Thanks! www.eat-in.co.za/Awards/Blogger-Awards

Hey ladies

This thread is too quiet as is usual these days I see!!! :(

Simone, Mandy, Zee & Christi hope you guys and the babies are well.
Christi I hope you're enjoying your holiday in KZN.

Yoza let me know if you do get stuff from the homeopath and how effective it is. I think we're going to have a sickly toddler in our house till his body adapts to all the germs in school and am dreading winter as well.

Angie YAY on Cole getting into the pre-school. Sure he will love it there.

Nicole how is your diet going? I'd be happy if I could just lose 3-4 kg's! Oh to be under 55kg's again would be heaven lol.
How are your headaches?
Don't worry we have that whining full swing at home and after Shrey got sick he's developed this horrible cry for EVERYTHING!!!

Zee has Ziani settled in at school now?

AFM work is hectic but I find time in between to get up to my usual nonsense ;)
Shrey is well again, he did have a couple wet coughs this morning so gave him some Ventese and hope that's helped.
He's really loving school, more the play time outside actually. He doesn't seem to enjoy colouring too much and the teacher says he's still seems to be battling with choosing which hand he wants to use. We're doing some activities at home to develop his hand muscles and he does seem to prefer his right hand but still does a few things with his left hand. Maybe he'll be ambidextrous like mil.

Not much to report about

Everyone else hope you are all doing well.

Nicole Goodluck with the weightloss.

AFU: We are all well. Work is just busy, busy. Good news is that Cole has been accepted at a great nursery school. He has been on the waiting list so long and they e-mailed me yesterday to say that he can start in June of this year. Which is great for me!!!!

So just wanted to have a quick chat.

Oh my goodness, Nicole, to be 60 kg again! Think I weighed 60 ten years ago ;)
Hope the headaches go away. I don't feel that wonderful myself, think I just need some sleeeeeep.

Christi, enjoy your time away! I really can't imagine why your mom don't see your point. I would feel exactly the same. Glad he's working away. Try to enjoy your time with hubby and not worry so much.

Okay, I'm off to bed.

Hi ladies

Just a quick post since its friday (although starting from 10am i have meeting after meeting *sigh*).

Christi i hope you enjoy your time away and im sure your mom will be very responsibile with Iris.

All the ladies with the recently newborns, i hope you are all doing well, finding some sort of routine and also allowing yourself some rest!

Ally how are the twins doing?

Lisha i hope Shrey i better now?

Julz you have been so quiet? I hope all is fine.

To all the othe ladies - i hope you are all well and will come update us when you get a gap.

afm - all ok just have had terrible headaches this week for some reason. K is doing well just become quite the whiner?? Gosh some days it drives me crazy, so now i give him a cup and tell him to put his whines in the cup and when he can speak like a big boy and i can understand him proberly i will be able to give him what he is asking for.

He seems to be doing well and is absolutly loving monkeynastics so worth every cent.

I am on a strict diet (well at least try to) cut down on sugar/coke, no chocs or chips. Eating soup and fruit during the day and then things like smoked chicken salad/green salad etc at night. I try to find time to excerise at home but that does not seem to be working so may go to aerobics class once a week at a gym close by. Seriously wanting to loose at least 10kg. (i was 50kg and now 60kg :( )

Other than that not much planned for the weekend, we going to take K to some nusery on Sunday where they have a little touch farm, playground and pony rides - he loves it there.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
