Hi ladies

Been a while!

Zee how did Ziani enjoy the cooking and baking? Shame I hope the tears end soon....not nice to leave her like that I'm sure. I can't believe your little guy is 4m old already??

Ally I'm glad the twins are better:)

Christi...nice to see u as well:)

So Joshua is almost 7w old...(Zee close your eyes) and a whopping 5.3kgs and 59cm! He is a big sturdy boy. So worried once he goes to formula he'll get fat! Lol.

Addison is besotted with him and is really the perfect big sister. She luckily never gets jealous of him... Zee I have to laugh at Ziani saying she doesn't have time for his nonsense.lol.

Josh battles with winds and we have some frustrating days/nights. He is waking at night every 2.5hrs:( some days he drinks every hour. Not sure if its the vaccinations that affected him this week as funny enough today he is drinking spread out and taking naps...unlike the last 3 days.

Otherwise he is really cute and smiles and coo's.

Addison loving school and learning so much!

I'm still battling with too much milk but hoping it will eventually stabilise.

Nicole enjoy the date with hubby! No idea when I'll go on a date again.lol.

Hi ladies

Christi, good to hear from you! How is Kota and how is Iris getting along with her brother? Z adores her brother and wants to feed him and pick him up, etc but she can be a bit jealous and can be a bit nasty to him as well. The other day she said I'm not in the mood for my brother and his nunsense! So ja ... It also doesn't help that he is often in the arms and then she wants to be picked up as well.

Talking about Z, I can't understand why she would be excited for a day about school and then suddenly its tantrums and hysterics about going to school. Yesterday was really bad and then I called the teacher and she said Z only cried for two seconds and started playing. When I got there yesterday she was playing outside on the jungle gym with a few girls so yes, she seems okay once there...

Ally, great, can't wait to see the book, do you have a release date? We'll chat again then, will email you in the week.

Man, my sinuses are killing me! WE are removing the plaster from all the walls now to replaster and repaint. There is literally dust everywhere, I am cleaning constantly. This is going to take awhile but hopefully not too long. I would love to get Zander christened before he can walk into church! And off course I can't invite people to our dusty place now!

Enjoy your weekend ladies!

Lisha, yup. We took them to the dr and he put them on Augmentin and gave them Lotem for pain & fever and a mixture of Venteze, Betanoid and flemlight for the coughs. Such an incredible mixture. They are much better already! Hope Shrey gets better soon.

Zee, I'm going to order the lollos dvd's. Heard a lot of kids at school also like it. What a generous offer to give my book some publicity! I will most definitely take you up on that. Will get Penguin to send you one of the copies for media they have reserved. :)

Christi, good idea! I'm going to do that. :)

Nicole, I want to ask the teacher but I constantly forget. I need to start writing things down on my hand! ;)

Hi everyone!
On my phone, Kota is having his morning drink and will then hopefully sleep for mommy to be able to clean the house a bit...

Ally, I bought Iris a book with a cd, its called Rympieland. Its got the words in the book with some pictures and on the cd they sing the rhymes. Iris loves listening to the cd and always asks for "eendjies" she knows most of the words already :-) She also likes Lollos but lately prefers "nokkie" Pinochio..

Lisha, hope Shrey will be better soon! Iris also has a runny nose for the past week already :-( yesterday the teacher said that most of the kiddies currently has runny noses...

Ok, sorry but cant remember much more, hope everyone has a fab weekend!

Hi ladies

Ally, great that its now going better at home and that Dh is on board with the school. Hmm, I can't remember that many songs but Ziani has learned Hasie in die holte, Hartseer krokodil, Vader Jacob, Stapsoldaatjie, etc. Maybe you should order a CD or DVD. Ziani loves the Ghoempie and Lollos DVD's. It might just help with the Afrikaans. Good luck with the final tweaks to the book, and remember to let me know when its on the shelves so that we can do an interview and some publicity for the book. Our latest recipe book nr 3 is now on the shelves and baking book has also been released in December and is doing quite well.

Lisha, hope Shrey feels better soon and that he will adjust well when he returns. Sounds as if he loves it, great news! Unfortunately Ziani cried again yesterday but we are getting there. They've got a baking and cooking theme today so they are going to make some treats, I'm sure she is just going to love it!

Nicole, your evening out sounds devine. DH and I have not gone anywhere since Z's birth. It wasn't that difficult to find a baby sitter for one child but now that there are two the grannies are not that keen on sitting! And everyone are always so busy. Z is also extremely clingy since she started to go to school so not sure that she will part that easily. Nicole, boys are rough hey, I always thought that Ziani was a bit rough outside, etc but the other day I went to fetch her and it was raining outside. The girls were playing nicely with dolls but the boys were wreaking havoc and playing very loudly :)

Hi Ladies

Anika - gosh your baby girl is gorgeous!!!!!!

Zee, im so glad Ziani is adjusting so well at school, im sure you must feel less stress now!!

Ally glad the kiddies are doing well at school. Sorry cant help with Afrikaans songs but why dont you ask their teacher if she can help you, last year when K started singing all these new songs that i didnt know the teacher offered to put the lyrics in his school book so that i could sing with him? Glad you and C are doing well and that he is helping with the twins and afrikaans.

Lisha, sorry to hear that Shrey is not well. I use to give K ACC 200 to help loosen the phelgm, the problem i use to experiance though is that it made it a little bit worse before it got better because the medicine loosens the phelgm it resulted in him coughing alot more, more so at night than during the day but it did help in the end, otherwise i think that there are homepathic Natura drops that may help?

afm, we are fine. The ladies who are mothers to boys here, is it just me or are your kids becoming alot more rougher? Keiran seems to play so rough these days but I dont think he realizes that he is actually hurting a person. His teacher says that he hangs around with other boys who all play rough together.

Last weekend our night out was great - walks on the beach, cocktails and supper was great. We going to the Hotel we got married at on the 18th of Feb as it is DH birthday so we will do the same as above. K loves it when my mom stays with him as she allows him to do all sorts and always brings milkshakes, ice-creams chips and a new toy with lol.

Flip it is raining like crazy here in E.L. seriously hope we dont have floods again.

Have a wonderful day ladies.

Hey ladies

Can't remember when last I've been able to log onto moomie. Hope you're all well and the little one's are being good & healthy.

Lwasi sounds like Amo is so independent and grown up now. DC just around the corner for you ... hope you guys make good transition to US way of living :)

Yoza so glad to hear that Siba's teacher is happy with his progress ... may he continue to surprise you guys xxx

Angelique wow I can't beleive how nicely Cole is putting on weight. Shrey is still stuck at 12kg's but the paed didn't seem concerned when we went this week.

Nicole how's work and is K enjoying his new activities at school?

Ankia Anrika looks adorbable.

Zee so glad Ziani is enjoying school more.

Ally are the twins getting over their tonsilitis now? Sounds like things are coming along nicely with your book.

AFM Shrey's been at home since Tuesday and I think I'll only send him back to school on Monday cos he's still not too good. He has the flu so lots of congestion in his nose and post nasal drip has given him an ugly cough. How do you guys get the little one's to get rid of phlegm? He is on an antibiotic and other meds since Tuesday night so hope it all starts to show some benefit soon.

He is really loving school. Made a couple friends and adores his outdoor play time. He's been quiet enthusiastic about going everyday so hope his stay at home these last few days is not going to ruin that. We just need to get him to focus on making more of an effort with his colouring ... looks like all he does is scribble and moves onto something else. He loved the finger painting though and you can clearly see he made more of an effort with that.

Anyway that's all I really have time for :( Chat soon ladies.
