Hey everyone. Jeez - you ladies have been chatting up a storm. Bit hard for me to log on because I don't have a desk so my laptop and IBurst Modem is on the kitchen counter when I use it and then it gets packed away again and it's a REAL effort to drag everything out the cupboard and get it all set up, so I only log on once in a while when I am really in the mood.
Read all your posts, but by the time I get to type my message, I can't remember who said what!! How bad am I!!
To those whose babies have day and night confused, I really feel for you - that must be sooo tiring especially if you have a toddler who is up during the day!!!
Emily is still doing well, just struggles to go down at night - she usually moans from around 7ish until 9ish when we finally manage to get her to go down. Once she is asleep, she sleeps really well though. But she wants to drink from 7 until 9, and if I take away from the boob before she is ready, she screams the roof down. Other than that, she is a really easy baby and we are doing great.
Girly, I give Emily gripe water from a bottle and I dilute it with a bit of boiled water - she seems to love it. Not sure if you want to give Kaylee anything from the bottle though?? Emily has been drinking from the bottle from day 6 and has no problem with the bottle teat or the nipple - as long as she gets something to drink, she doesn't seem to mind where it is coming from

I really recommend Tommee Tippee though!!!
We are going for our photoshoot on 27 September - can't wait. Emily has changed so much since birth already so I need to do it soon.
BTW - she woke up with a really bad rash in her head, on her face and down her back and chest last Friday

- so we took her to the paed and apparently she has eczema

- he prescribed Advantan and Mylocort - the mylocort is for her face and the advantan for the rest of the problem areas. It has cleared up nicely, but if she rubs her face against something, it flares up again

- the problem with the creams are that they are cortizone creams and really strong for a baby so we can't use it everyday - I feel so sorry for her because I guess it has to itch because she gets a bit niggly at times
Well ladies, enjoy your little ones - I will try and do personals next time I log in.
