charnenay dont be to worried about no feeling her move too often, maybe she is just laying with her back towards he tummy that way you cant feel them move,

Girly, having your own room can be great, When i was a cape town medi clinic with my first born i shared a room as all the private rooms where booked and there rooms are spacious but the other mom wasnt friendly, and no company at all. Im giving birth at milnerton this time and the rooms are small, so i might just go and book a private room this time around.

My weekend was very relaxing, spoilt daddy rotten, made him breakfast in bed the whole works. Jude's not well took him to the doctor yesturday as he has a bladder infection and couldnt keep his wee in. Sunday morning he started weeing blood and crying. Doctor says he has a urinal infection which is very painfull. I tell you i cried with him everytime he goes to the loo. His with my mother in law today so im hoping to leave soon too fetch him.

Anyways hope everyone in CT is not stuck in traffic on your way home.

Hey ladies

Hope everyone is doing well.

I am soooo tired this morning - can't wait for 13:00 to get out of here. Just a few small things left to do at work and then it's just the day to day until I leave. Really can't wait to be home already - it's just the getting up in the mornings that is becoming very hard!! Think I might get myself a summer job from next year and stay home during the winter months LOL

Girly, glad the hospital tour went well. THe lady who does the tours there really is very nice. As for the private room - we decided against it since DH can't stay the night there either - I don't want to be on my own during the night and prefer to rather be with other moms so we can keep each other company during those midnight feeds (just hope I room with some nice moms)!! The only thing that really bugs me is sharing the bathroom - I would have preferred to have my own bathroom, but I guess it's 3 nights max if all goes well and that's not sooo bad. Might still change my mind though

Emily has been very quiet these last few days and I am getting a tiny bit concerned - only see my gynae next Wednesday again, but I am wondering if I should maybe give her a call and try to see her earlier??? I still feel her move, but her movements are not as strong or frequent as they used to be. Just not sure where to draw the line between being paranoid and just being careful???

Mina Moo - hope everything works out for you and DH so that he can be here when baby comes!! As for Maternity leave, definitely counting down the days - I am trying my best to stay until the 14th, which means 3.5 weeks left at work, but will see how it goes, I might start my leave earlier.

Have my baby shower on Saturday - can't wait. Will be nice to see some of my old friends again - some of them I have not even seen this year, so they will be shocked to see my belly

Its getting crazy here at work finally sunk into bosses head i soon wont be here now they panicking. Hope this crazy week passes really fast.

We went for the hospital tour this morning.
The lady was so sweet. We were late - because they decide to do roadworks on Platekloof road on a Saturday morning? So we caught up where they were, and afterwards she took us around separately. Some people doing the tour were just a few weeks to due date. Made me feel rather efficient!

So looks like DH wants me in a private room. Extra R550 / night. He wants to find the money for it, cos its so much more comfy for mom, and nicer for those visiting, and less strict with dad's visits. So will change our booking form to that next week and have to find the cash somewhere.
He was so good about the tour too. And had some good questions. Can see he is mentally preparing for the day.

I am so emotional today. Just watched a movie and balled my eyes.
Also still very tired, could sleep all day. Been like this since Wednesday
Better get active though, a lot to do this weekend.

Mina I hope your DH gets to come down asap, that you can enjoy the last few weeks together.
You must be careful climbing stairs, take it slow.
I definitely will claim UIF. I think you can only submit the forms once on M/L though. But get your company to fill out docs before hand so get the forms in the meantime.
Shame I know th feeling re shopping. DH Bike service & parts cost a pretty penny. The timing not so good.

Awesome about finding someone to look after your LO, you are very very lucky!
We will start looking once baby is here, but we will have to find a daycare, or a nanny if I can afford one, but will have to see.
Seems you're carrying very nicely then! I think I'm carrying a lot on my sides. Doesnt help being short hey.

Re bathroom trips, thats one area I have not had a problem except for a few weeks in first trimester. If I get up once a night its a lot! Hopefully a sign of a good night time sleeper in Kaylee

Off to panorama now for our hospital tour. And then baby city to pick up my fedhealth goodie bag and look at the pram - money spent, so have to buy it next weekend.
And this afternoon putting up the curtains and clean house, since Ive been off my feet this week!

Fathers day - at MIL's house making a roast. Yummy!

Hello mommies "almost to b"

Think quite a few of us r now counting down the weeks till maternity, i'm definitely one of them!

Hope u all doing well & trying to take it easy?

Lil p's so busy moving right now, playtime i guess or breakfast time...

My work found a temp for me starting the 1st July as I go off on the 16th...hopefully DH will be here by then, wants to be here already, mite seriously do the transfer thingy for like 2months here 'n in that time, try 'n find a work here too, we'll see what happens!
I'm not liking the stairs at work hey, goodness & the woddling, aah ha

Are any of you claiming UIF whilst on leave? I'm seriously contemplating about this 'n time is running out also, godda act now if I want to go this route!

I'm soo broke so no shopping until payday 'n the last lil things I need too as I cannot walk round for long periods of time, i'm getting too tired now & I don't even know if i'm going to have a baby shower soon, will have to wait 'n see...
