Its my cousin and his wife's anniversary too but their 2nd year, and their little boy was one yesterday, he was almost a first anniversary present.

Today is my 3rd anniversary, so MIL is baby sitting and DH is taking me out for dinner
Things have been so hectic at work over the last 2 weeks that I didn't even realise that
today was my anniversary so was surprised when I woke up to a lovely gift

Kerry, yep, next year it is - think everybody is just too busy before Christmas.
I ended up doing Christmas shopping this entire weekend - and spent Sunday afternoon wrapping Only presents left is mine, DH and Willem's (somehow we forgot about ourselves during the shopping ). We are getting Willem the Quadro set. Hopefully DH will remember to phone today...

So unfair - I always end up working for companies that DON'T close over Christmas DH's company closes the week between Christmas and New Year - maybe next year I must take some leave then...

So, this morning I felt around in Willem's mouth (though he was chewing something he wasn't supposed to again - on Saturday he bit off a piece of soap!!), and to my shock, his second molar is through!!! The bottom left one.
I have NO idea when it pushed through - it's out quite far already!

As for the sleeping - I jinxed it... On Friday I told everybody how well he was sleeping, so both Friday and Saturday night he was impossible - waking up 2-3 times, up and in bed with us 3-4am onwards...
And then he slept fine again last night...

I got to leave work at 3:40 on Friday - was home by 4!!!! Felt SO good maybe I must start working early every Friday

So turns out we are not going to either my parents OR DH's parents for Christmas this year.....

...They are ALL coming to us!! And my gran. Yikes - so now I have to start planning!!!

Evan has been teething and had flu. Still not 100% but he does seem to be improving. Evan though he is refusing to eat :'(

Kerry & Jeanine - sorry I didnt make it. Had SIL's Christmas brunch.

Flowergirl, wow - at least they are out now! Shame man, I was sooo shocked that he didnt run screaming when he saw the clown! It sounds like Em is doing so well at dropping her milk!

Kerry, Evan also loves those wagons. He hijacked his cousins one. It's pink but hey, he loves. it. Evan is weeing through his nappies every night now. I guess it's time to go to a bigger size. It's because he drinks so much water at night. I can see that being an issue with potty training one day.

PM how were the graduation / prize givings? I am sorry to hear about your friends LO :'( I hope you had a great time shopping and mardi gra!

Robyn, Dakota is sooo cute! I'm glad she enjoyed the pool! Evan's enjoying it more now. Sounds like you have a LOT of parties going on! What did your boss say about your work hours?

Sheryl, that's going to be sooo cute! I'm sure she'll have a great time posing. I'm also almost done Christmas shopping. Just Barry, FIL & BIL left.

I want to get a tow bar fitted on Barry's car for Christmas. He wants something that can be knocked off the to do list so that is something he's wanted to get done for 4 years now. I just cant believe how huge the prices vary from the East to the North. East = R 1750 , North R 3000 plus... So I need to steal his car for a morning and trek to the East. My dad will go with me so I have back up. I hate dealing with technical stuff because you always get stuffed around as a woman... Evan is still struggling... He's got top and bottom - his gums are sooo red and swollen - it's terrible. The bottom 4th tooth is cutting out - hopefully will be out by the end of the week and the top left front mollar is pushing. I saw the white points yesterday so hopefully not too long for that one. I hope the pain at least eases for Christmas. He was sleeping so well and then it all went south. Last night he slept through - woohoo

I am on leave from Friday. Am thinking of going to the zoo, Delta park and Monte with Evan next week (different days obviously) to get him out the house a bit. Not sure if anyone wants to join us for a play date one of the days?

Oh, Evan stopped calling me Mama, a while back. Everyone is Dada and dad is dada or daddy. This morning he called me mommom when I walked in his room. And he called me that a few more times this morning So glad I'm not Dada any more

almost done with xmas gifts. just one more to buy for my neice and then its wrapping this week, maybe friday. last few days for work. Its such an effort i tell you

I just love the xmas vibe when you go shopping, just want to buy everything - LOL

I have K 1 year photo shoot end of dec, I cannot wait. I have not done photos since she was about 6 months old.

so how many of us on leave from this week ?

Yep, real wet weather. When it looks like this, I want to stay in bed with a book, and have some pancakes Not sit in the office!!!

Got to work at 7am this morning! DH is having their 'year-end' - they were going to go to Gold Reef City, but with the rain they will probably just go to a restaurant somewhere (think the back-up plan was Monte Casino). So, he wanted the car today, and had to drp me off first... At least I can leave a bit earlier too (LOVE my flexi hours ) FIL is picking me up, hopefully he can get me at around 3:30-4:00

Can't see the photo's at work they monitor the internet usage, so I switch pics off to save some bandwith (and also, a plain text page looks less suspicious if the boss walks past...) Will have to log in from home tonight and look.

Willem has been spoiling me - the last 3 nights he slept through!!! well, till 5am, but close enough
Lets hope this lasts!. If it does, I'm probably going to move him into his own room. The room is a bit of a distance from ours, so not keen to run up and down 3 times a night. Also, its right next to the lounge, so would have to close his door till we go to sleep, and if I forget to open it again, I might not hear him.

Kerry, I'm available Sunday. If I remember correctly, we were waiting to hear from Cols still.... BabyK was out, and not sure about Sheryl?

Will check back this afternoon to see whats going on...
