Flower, I know what u mean about the stained clothes! Feels I'm forever buying new clothes cause Iz's got stains on!

One of these days Em will start running, then there's no stopping them.

Listen, with Iz, she can drink and eat whatever she likes as long as there's no dairy or soya in!!!! So I'm kinda good with sand and water from the playstation!

In a months time my baby is finished with Primary School!!!! My heart!?!?! I'm so not ready for this!!!!!! The boys!!!!!! Eish, saturday (pics) we went to get drinks from the ice cream parlour, and the outjie working there stuttered so badly when he saw Abs, I seriously had to contain myself not to laugh. He couldn't keep his eyes off her. And theres this one other outjie in church that's been eyeing her, I'm telling you, hartfailure!!!!!!

PM - yes, Em has the water/sand table, we got it for her bday. She loves it! My mom even cleaned it out and put Jelly in there the one day!! She thought that was the best thing ever. Only problem I have is that she ends up drinking the water she fills her bucket and then tips it over her mouth - most of it ends up over her clothes though. She surprisingly enough does not mix the water and sand

PM - It is amazing how much more grown up IZ looks compared to Em, I think it's because she is walking. Emily still like a baby always on the arm or crawling around, only takes a few steps when she is in the mood. Some days she will surprise us and walk quite a bit, but most days she walks on her knees (literally!) She lifts her upper body from the floor and then walks around on her knees! I am sure that must be harder than proper walking, but she doesn't seem to think so *sigh*. You should see what her clothes looks like, she does not have an item of clothing that does not have black knees - we definitely can't pass on her clothing or keep it for number 2, they are all ruined after 1 wear

Oh, and CONGRATS on the job!!! You must be excited, hope you manage to sort out everything before then - where will Iz stay? As for Abby going to high school - I hear you, my manager was telling me how she took her 15 year old son to the waterfront to meet a girl he met on some gaming site, she is 15 as well and the parents met each other and had a cup of coffee together while the kids went somewhere else to get to know each other... then I started thinking, -please don't tell me that in 13 or 14 years my Emily is going to be asking me to take her to meet boys!!!! don't think I will ever be ready for that!!

PM it looks like you guys had an amazing time! Can you believe how our babies have suddenly grown! Just looking at Iz running!! Oh my word I cannot even imagine how I will feel with Evan going to primary school, let alone high school!!

I love wedge shoes, Woolies have lovely ones at the moment. I got a nice black pair for work.

Congrats on the new job! Dont worry about your mom, sounds like her fiance has it under control. You do enough running after her as is.

I wanted to tell you, I was looking for muffin recipes that I can add pureed fruit to. I stewed a massive pot of blue berries, raisins and apples for evan so I wanted to use some of it for muffins. You can use fruit puree as a substitute for butter and margarine in muffins

Some pics from Saturday afternoon, after some shopping we grabbed towels and sunscreen and headed to the harbour for Iz to play in the mud a bit.

The girls decided they not going to their dad for the weekend, so we had some extra nice family time.

Iz also suddenly dropped all night bottles. For about 5 days now, she didn't touch her bottle once, whereas she drank 3-4 bottles per night.

I love your xmas ideas, we are thinking of getting Iz one of those sand/water playstations for outsited, Flower, I think Em has one, saw it in her bday pics. Also love the easel idea.

I got an offer to go back to my previous company yesterday. Starting 2 Feb 2012. Which would suit me perfectly, as I just planned our December holiday. We are going to Oos-Transvaal for a week, and visiting dh's family in Pretoria for a weekend. Abby wanted to be in nature this holiday....hahaha....kids.

And starting work only in Feb give me time to be with Abs helping her adjust to Highschool. People, I have heartfailure everytime I realise my baby is going to highschool!!!!! I am so not ready for this!

DH and I started training together this morning . What a joke! But wth, if this helps me get into holiday shape, might as well give it a try.

Kerry, sorry to hear bout ur mom! Mine is also sick again . Viral infection and Bronchitus. Though I staying away, her fiance bought her a brand new I10 last week, and I figured now I don't have to drive her around seeing she has her own car again. But now I heard her fiance took off work to take her to doc yesterday....wondering now if I should've taken her? If it was expected?

Anyhoo, let my day start, Iz is smeering her weetbix all over me and the floor.

BabyK, I hope you had an amazing weekend and had a great girls night on Saturday?! I hope S isnt too stressed about his exam today and did actually manage to squeeze in some study time...

Regarding the op - I've had to have the same procedure 3 times before. last time was before I fell pregnant the 1st time. Then I was prego with evan 3 months after the D&C. So maybe this will make it all good for baby #2. I think if it comes back again after that I will tell them to take it all. I hate it and I worry it increases my risk of cancer. My mom had the same issues and she wasnt much older than I am now when she had to have a full hysterectomy. Medicine has changed since then but I dont really see the benifit of having to repeat the same operation every year or 2. We have tried hormone treatments etc in the past as an attempt to avoid surgery but it has never worked. The cysts just kept growing and the endometriosis kept spreading. We arent telling Barry's family as it becomes a hot topic to discuss with all who will listent and the rumor mill churns. And my reproductive capabilities and organs are the topic for the forseeable future at all family gatherings. Anyway, enough of the doom and gloom

Sheryl, I hear you on not being in the mood for work! I'd rather be home in bed today I started thinking Evan didnt like swimming. He clings to me and cries when I take him in the pool but he's obsessed with it when I leave him be... Anyway yesterday took him to his grandparents and I had the same issue with him in their little blow up pool. So I took him out. Next thing he walks straight up to it and wants to get in. So i let him stand in it. He stood there a little while and then got down on his haunches to play with the toys and when I looked again he was merrily sitting in the pool on his own playing. His grandfather was watching him and splashing the water with him etc. SO, like everything else, he likes it but only in his own time I will ask around about play groups etc. My friend had a stunning day mother but she closed down because of some parents abusing her good nature and kindness. Kerry, the 3rd is good for me but work with what is easiest for everyone else. I dont mind your place or Delta park. Delta park is nice because like Jeanine said there is so much for the kids to do and you dont have to rebuild your house after the destructors have rampaged through it

Flowergirl, I love the chalkboard idea. Evan is really enjoying finger painting and his crayons now days. He is obsessed with books. I need to get him some new ones for Christmas. Also, he loves pushing his cars around now. Well actually anything he can roll. I am also thinking of getting him an ipod docking station for his room. I have an ipod I never use so I thought it'd be nice to load his cd's onto it for his room. His CD player got moved into our cottage for our tenant. So he hasnt got anything in his room. I've been buyng him and my niece & nephews odds and ends over the last few months. So whenever I see something @ a reasonable price or on sale I buy Now I only need a few items - an outfit for each of them and I am done

We have decided on a limit of R 200 per person for christmas this year. Kids - whatever we want. It will help keep costs under control I think.

BabyK - how was your night out geez man I have not had a night out on my own in ages....

so when is everyone going on leave, I am on leave from the 15 dec and counting the days - LOL... my batteries are really tired. I do recharge constantly but need a good break where is everyone off too ?

I am looking for a one day a week play group for K next year.... I have tried top tots but DH was tired of the managers time managment, always running late with classes and faffing around and just not organised. otherwise would have carried on with that and I want something in the fourways area so I dont have to drive out...traffic by us is a nightmare on weekends too. or a day mother

so if anyone knows, let me know !
