Morning Sher!

Yes K slept a 100% better last night... i think even though the antibiotics are finished her throat is still a bit sore as last night when we got home she was a little niggly so we gave her a throat lolly... after that she was her happy bouncy normal self again... (so cute watching her suck it) though it looks like she uses it to rub her gums for the teeth so it could also be tooth no's 5&6 worrying her

She still didn't want to go to bed... so we sat in her rocking chair reading a touch and feel book for maybe 5 minutes and then i put her in bed and she was happy to go to sleep... looks like she just wanted mommy time I think the main issue is that daddy is studying so while we ordinarily take it in turns to bath her and put her to bed it been all me for a few weeks now while dad gets in some good studying.

So my mom is in hospital again today, this time for a gastroscope... you see she has been feeling constantly naseous since her appendix was removed... (funny thing is not nauseous enough to not want to go to a resturant on every weekend.. and by far not enough to affect her smoking). So the doc is doing an endoscope to hopefully see whats causing it... (I guess the doc needs a christmas bonus)
Have to love Hypochondria! she finds a phsyc and sticks with him till i think he realises the issue... then all of a sudden you hear stories about how the shrink sleeps in her sessions and... and its off to a new shrink.

So it looks like i am spending the weekend nursing my mom... as apparently this procedure she has had before and it hurts.... funny though everyone else i know who has had a gastroscope disagrees... but i guess everyone is different.

Sorry... thats just my rant... needed it a bit... LOL am much better now... promise

Sher... about the work i must tell you i am in the same boat... my company closes on the 15th but our department has been given permission to come in if necessary... and it looks like i will be working through because i just don't see how i am going to get everything done on time! and i sooo don't feel like working today! My clients are messing me around this month!

Kerry - hope k is feeling better

Seems K is not sick and is fine, such a strong baby. runny nose dried up with what i used on her, still sleeps through and no crying or fussing, all good. k does not get up at night for any drink, still. gets up very early though at 4:30 bottle and back to sleep till 6am. past two days got up but no milk and lasted till 7am for cereal. normal is 3 bottles in 24 hours, but last two days, had 2 bottles in 24 period..... K still loves her food and is eating fine and eating fruit everyday and yoghurt etc. she has not gotten sick yet.... only once from another child that shared toys months ago. cuts teeth fine too, just sleeps still and maybe restless one or two nights but no crying !

I had a headcold, got meds, feeling "not like work".... this sore throat is just annoying me now

anyway, i have 5 weeks till leave - yay but geez alot of work before then, hope i make it without wanting to collapse

I need to buy some nice clothes, must be fussy but everything seems granified in shops, and I like plain but elegant clothes, not floral etc.....

have you guys started xmas shopping, i must so i dont leave it the last minute

I want to do something nice for the grandparents, nice pic of K.... unusual form though

I did give her neurofen which did nothing drastic. i don't see any sign of the new teeth and she only just cut tooth 3&4 in the last week or two...

i guess anything is possible... poor thing

I love it when they are so proud of themselves like that... Kaelyn seems to have this special "I did it" smile and jiggy... too cute for words really!

Cols - sorry to hear that Hope all goes well next week.

Kerry - maybe teeth? Did you try and give her something for pain?

As for me, I am so not in the mood for being at work today dh is home with Emily and they will no doubt be doing something fun today while I am stuck at work - lots of developments happening here though, so I have to be here a full day.

Emily is just so cute at the moment - this morning while I was still in bed, she decided to pack all DH's shoes out of the cupboard and line the shoes neatly on my bed!! She was so proud of herself when she had them all lined up - she kept looking at it and clapping She is also much more confident with the walking now - still crawling 90% of the time, but every now and then she gets up and walks to where she wants to be.

phew! had a night from hell last night... she just did not want to sleep, no matter what! I don't know what it was hubby and i were eventually taking turns rocking her to her white noise CD.... Oh my word! and she is just finishing a course of antibiotics so it most definately cant be that she is sick!

Kerry, Evan's been the same this week. Would rather have a bit of water at night - not much - but not his milk.

Kerry, I will try make saturday but I have to see how I go. Barry's studying so he cant come and I now have to go in for an operation on Thursday I went back to the gynae today because my cycles have been wierd lately. I have endometriosis and cysts So i have to have a laparoscopy next thursday I've had 3 laps in the past - it killed me. They are so painful
