mrs s - he is tooooo cute and strong and re eating i started lea at 4mnths and sooooooooo glad i did she eats everything today - if u read babyguides they say babies tastebuds explore and develop between 4-6mnnths so different textures prepares them to take all foods - i know too many who waited for 6mnths then babes only wanted pureed stuff or no food but its personal choice

Maureen, you are brave to have waxed already. I haven't tried it yet and after seeing my Gynie on monday I had a bit of puss coming out of a small hole in the middle of my scar, turns out a little piece of stitch was workingit's way out. But it's all fine again now.

Took Caitlin for her injection today, went very well and the sister working from home is SO nice. She spotted and anwered all my questions before I had to ask. Caitlin has also gained 1.2kg's (3.8 now) and is 56cm long. Almost outgrowing her new born clothes.

Enjoy the weekend ladies. We are hoping to go for a nice picnic if the weather holds.

Mrs SH, I waxed now already, 12 weeks later over my scar and it was fine. It is way better now. As for solids you can start at 4 months apparantely.

Gotta go, Jamie is crying...

Nelria - thanks for that. I thought I saw that in our booklet, but the lady I spoke to was totally useless. I'll just get the code straight from the call center. Also going for the 8 weeks one instead.

Re sex - once about 3 weeks after and once this past weekend.

Re scar - are you putting micropone plaster on it? I clean mine and put the plaster over it and try to ignore it. It sucks though. For another reason too, I usually wax everything and with the scar, I have to wait 6 months apparently before being allowed to wax again. Sucks.

Maureen - nice, bring warm clothes, but the warm days (like today is 23 degrees) rocks. Alex also sleeps through everything.

I forgot that I was given a Babysense womb to world CD and am currently playing to to Alex whilst he is sleeping. He hasn't woken up once - maybe it does work (I don't have much faith in all these happy-clappy-remedies...).

Oh and the nurse told me yesterday that because Alex is so big, he is probably going to want solids sooner than 6 months, so I have to make sure that he gets enough neck practice. Apparently it's not good to give any solids if they can't keep their necks up.

Anyway, so we were practicing today and he held his neck up for almost a minute. My strong darling son...awesome that his going to be tall, I'm looking forward to lots of hugs - even when he is a teenager!!!

Nelria, we did it 3 weeks after the birth... But so far we don't do it often anymore. It is sad because we love being active, but him working hard, me taking care of Jamie, we are exhuasted at night. And financially we are struggling so there isn't really passion at the moment. Boohoo....

MRS SH - thanks for following. As for mil, we are going down to Cape Town in August so that they can meet Jamie. But tell me this, if this is the first grandson with the family name, wouldn't you do the effort and come visit in Pretoria instead of letting the new family travel to Cape Town???? Annoying.

For all the ladies that don't know I work on a Wednesday every week since Jamie was born, work just couldn't cope, and I told them to get someone, but no they don't listen to me at all.

Jamie sleeps well, he is sitting on the couch listening to Sonny with a Chance on Nickelodeon...so cool. He loves noise...really my little boy. Can sleep through mostly anything.

We took him along to Gold Reef City on Saturday, and he slept most of the day in his pram listening to all the screaming. SO cool,...

afm - xen is beter by the day still feeding 3 hourly grrrrrrrrr but after i re-discovered sterimar yesterday he slept like dream with no throaty noices last night so i am happy chappy today

going for baba-meet today with morgan(carli is 5wks) and with tienka(shayne is 2 weeks) so will line baba's up for pic

seeing gynae tomorrow (6 wks) and paed thurs(6wks) but must say brett cant wait for gynae as that was my excuse for no monkey business - mmmmmmmmmmmmm so after tomorrow no more excuse - I hate my c-sec scar so not in mood for loving yet
