lucy- 6 hours of sleep sounds like heaven! I honestly cant remember the last time i slept that long, couldnt have been during the pregnancy since i was up every 2 hours to use the toilet so no side effects with the shots, unless London just handles it very well. Those swings are nice and pricey but i understand how a person's arm and back can take a beating. Glad things are going so smoothly with night routine

Hey Alex not experiencing anything out of the ordinary. Instead its more like he is going through his 6 week growth spurt. Eats more regularly and is crankier or nigglier during the day. On the other had I have had 2 nights in a row of 1 x 5-6 hour sleep sessions followed by 2 x 3-4 hours sleep sessions so I am very pleased! He doesnt sleep well during the day tho and needs constant motion. Been rocking him in his pram and have decided to buy a swing now as my arm is going to fall off! Night time we usually bath him at 18h30, feed him at 19h00 and have him asleep by 20h00. Swaddling and the Bennett's Colic Mixture seem to be helping!

if ur babies sleeps longer than 4 hours do u wake them for a feed? I've done this once since i was told their blood sugar drops but i'm not sure how true it is.

Lucy- how is London doing after the shots? Any fever? Is he cranky? I'm trying to prepare myself for whats lies ahead.

Jane- good luck with the flight! Not that u'll need it, i'm sure it will go well. My left boob also sometimes sprays milk, i try and let him drink from there after the right, otherwises he gulps it down and ends up spitting back up.

Mrs sh- Happy 1 month Alex! I'm so jealous of ur 20min feeds but i'm gonna believe u that mine will get shorter. I get up 3 or 4 times a night to feed.

i'm so pissed! The ppl next door are painting and my whole flat stinks like paint. This cant be good for Mateo. I'm trying to air out the room but its so bloody cold. I dont know what to do. Has anyone heard of lennons duiwelsdrek? My grandmother used to rub me out with it when i was a baby to get rid of winds, we used it on Mateo last night and he was burping and farting all night in his sleep, could have been a coincidence tho.

Lucy - I got the mixture from a friend and it only says "koliekmengsel" on the bottel, handwritten. But I am sure you can ask at any pharmacy if they make up their own mixture. I have also heard of a mixture called "groen mamba". Hope it helps
