Sorry - Alex started crying...

Alex - ja, get out a bit. It really does wonders for the soul.

Maureen - sheez 6kg! That's great man! I've been following you on facebook, he is such a little trooper.

Just quickly, Alex now weights 5.2kg is is growing close to the 90% line on the birth chart. He is 57cms tall.

Ronel - yay that the pead sorted you out! Zarika sounds healthy and good. Good luck with the MIL. I have mine coming down in Sept and not really looking forward to it.

Probiflora - this apparently gives your baby stronger intestines - basically gives it good bacteria. Doesn't have a short term benefit (eg. it won't cure your babies cramps overnight), but the long term benefits are amazing. It also builds their immune system and helps against thrush. I express in the mornings and DH gives the bottle at night after Alex's bath. This also helped us to introduce a bottle - apparently some babies dont' like giving up boob for bottle when they have to later.

Nelria - does Momentum cover private immunisations? Apparenty the state stock ROTARIX VACCINE is out of stock in my area until mid Sept and costs R380 if you want to use the private. I probably have ot cal Momentum, but we work through a broker and the lady I spoke to today was a bit clueless. She said they cover the state immunisations - but that's not a benefit at all then as this is free? So I thought I'd ask you as you're also on the scheme.

Ladies - I'm so pleased. I fit into my prepregnancy jeans!!! There is a bit more 'excess skin' hanging over the top, but I've not had time exercise my stomach. WE've been going for long walks and pushing a pram definitely burns those calories.

Hello Ladies,

I am the worst moomie mommy, I dissapeared for 3 months...

Well everything is going very well, Jamie isn't as little anymore, he is well on his way to 6 kilograms. Still has blue eyes, and sleeps like a little angel. Every night from 10 to 6 or 7 am. So far, so good.

How is everyone doing?

I am not even going to try and read everything, just too much, will try and keep up to date from now on.

So I still have another 6 weeks before going back to work...yeah...

Saw Nelria and Xen today, he is adorable... And naturally Nelria is thing already...can't believe it.

Here is a picture of Jamie now...

Missed all of you so much...

congrats Newbie!

Mateo barely sleeps during the day, like 40 mins at a time every 2 hours. It used to stress me out but now i enjoy him while he's so alert and looking around the room. At least he sleeps well at night, thank God! We gonna try and give him a bottle this week coz mark and i want to go out to dinner soon. I'll probably have severe seperation anxiety for those two hours, but being indoors all day is really getting to me.

Jane- those days when nothing calms them are tough! Awesome that she was so good at the wedding. I dont know when i'll be brave enough to take Mateo to an event.

Ronel- i feel exactly the same way about mark's mom. But dont feel guilty, u know ur baby better than anyone else, this is what i keep on telling myself when i constantly get advice. I'm glad Zarika is feeling better and wow, she grew quite abit!

Newbie (Larissa) had her little baby girl via C Section this morning at around 10am. She was 3.3kg with lots of hair and gorgeously chubby!

Ronel / Lucy - I heard the probiflora (9 something or other) is better than ruteri...Ronel, maybe you should look into it cos the last thing you want is baby with thrush or candida.

Caitlin smiled at me for the first time on Wednesday...was so precious!!! She has done it a few times now and each time it gets more pronounced and stays a bit longer :) sooo cute!

Went to our first 'big' event with Caitlin last night - a wedding and she was so well behaved, just let a RIPPER go in church and then gave a rather loud fart afterwards which had a couple of people in stitches :) But luckily there were lots of babies at the wedding, so no one really fussed too much.

Hope you ladies are enjoying your little angels. I wanted to throw Caitlin out the window on Friday cos she cried so much...think it was something I ate :( but she is back to herself again thankfully!

HAve a fab weekend!

Hey Ronel sounds like both our little ones are on the same meds now! Word of advice! Some pharmacies actually make up the losec liquid for you (lasts 2 weeks and then you need to throw away and get more). My pharmacy at Netcare Blaauwberg does it for me. Maybe find out and call around and see which pharmacies do it in your area. London is also on Bennett's and I am quite happy. As for the Reuteri we were going to use it, but Dr put us onto Probiflora which he now uses once a week.
