Newborn and baby advice

Zulu it's so hard staying away from her as hubby is working so i have to look after her.I'm just very careful around her ,sneezing away from her , washing my hands all the time and not touching her face or hands.Ahhhrg hope all this helps.

I know what you going thru, plz keep your LG far away otherwise she'll catch the flu, how is she doing?

After witnessing what DH went thru after the op, i swore that i'll never take them out, the pain is terrible more than the c- section.

plz stay in bed and finish the course.

Wow seems like you have had a rough few weeks.Hope everyone gets well soon.Glad your little girl is growing so well.

I also have tonsillitis with the flu now so know that horrible feeling.Just want to stay in bed , but as you can see i can't sleep for some reason.

Hope u and your families are doing well.
I'm back, very exhausted, a lot has happened in the past few weeks.

Let me start with the good news, my LG is doing very well, she's now 6.1 kg and on size 3 nappies, she's got very big thighs.

I had acute tonsillitis two weeks ago,and was on bed rest for 2 days, but that did not happen, my LG caught the fever and she was coughing badly and had a runny nose.
i took her to the emergency room, she's now fully recovered.

Just as i was recovering DH went to an ENT cause he has bn battling with sinusitis for some time.

he was booked immediately for adenotonsillectomy (sp), his left ear was badly damaged.

he went for an op on the 1st of June and was discharged same day, he recovered well until a week later when he started bleeding.

i took him back to the doc's room and he checked him and said there's nothing wrong, same day in the evening he bled severely i rushed him to hospital.
he was admitted for 3 days, he is now much better

um now looking after two babies, i sometimes get so annoyed cause he exaggerates the pain.

worse of all my nanny has taken leave so um all by myself.

That's enough about my myseries.

Welcome Abby , you're at the right place for advise and just lekke chats.

Well I took Liebe to the creche and it was not as horrible as I thought it would be I stood there and told the teacher "my hart oyn" and then started to cry and it was over.Kissed her good buy and left , went straight to the shops for some therapy and ended up buying nothing.Got home and as I have the flu took some meds and slept.Went to fetch Liebe at 3pm and she could not be bothered to see me , she was sitting happily on the teachers lap , laughing and having fun.This made my day because no matter how hard it is for me , I want to see my child happy.Will let you know how it goes on Thursday cause then it is the real thing.

I wish I get better , so scared Liebe gets sick as well.

Does any of you give you babies vitamin's , I got Lieb Vi-Daylin as it is the only one that I found that you can use for a baby from 1month. I'm giving it to her as the creche can be full of germs and with winter there is a lot of sick children so I hope it will give her immune system a boost.

Jacadebra & Scribbling reading your post has just made me so hungry for chinese takeaway.I love veggie stir fry.Specially the oriental sauce you buy at woolies.

Ladies our babies are getting so big , I could not believe when Pinky said Karla is already 9 weeks meaning little Emily is also 9 weeks already and Jacadebra expecting a 12 week growth spurt for Lia.Time has gone by so fast.

I must admit one thing , in the beginning when everything was so stressful and all the other ladies on the other threads said it will get better I did not really believe them but I does get better.I love being a mom it is my best job ever and I love every second of it.

Hope you all have a good nights rest , I'm staying in bed tomorrow hoping to get better.
