BOj , I'm also using S26 gold , had liebe on Isomil but when I went for six week check up doctor suggested that I put her on S26 Gold as it is the closest to breastmilk. I'm very happy with it.The onlything is their portion sizes are too much , Liebe drinks 100ml instead of 150ml she is suppose to but she is growing and picking up weight.

Yes s26 GOLD is very Good but also expensive

@Bundle - I didn't ask my paed, but, went on the recommendation of many other formula feeding moms and the clinic sisters and chose S26 gold, and so far so good! I know the hospitals mainly use Nan, but Ichose to use S26 - at my 6 week Paed visit, I told him I was using S26, and he said it was a great Formula milk!

how to choose a formula? i can only tell you my experiencebut every child is different.

they gave him nan in hospital = bad constipation

went to pead he said change to isomil= my Lb wanted to drink every 2 hours not feeding enough

went back to paed crying as i was very bad sleep deprived he said try lactogen for hungry babies and baby is now 15 weeks and i am happy with it.

But there is alot of formulas s26 i have heard is very good !

So I tried espressing yesterday and it didn't go well. Not sure what is up but I can't seem to espress a lot of milk anymore and my boobs are never full and hard like they used to be. I really hope I don't have a problem with my milk supply. Luke doesn't seem to be hungry after his feed so hope he is getting enough.

So now am thinking I may have to give formula when I need to ie. when I go to the soccer world cup match and when I am not around for hubby to feed him with formula.

QUESTION - How do you know which formula to use? did your paed recommend it, I really don't want to have to go and spend R500 just to ask him which formula to use!

Hi ladies - I'm visiting with my mom today, just to get out of the house a bit, my cleaning lady and gardeners are at my house and it just got too noisy and I had already cancelled a coffee date with a friend, I really wish I hadn't cancelled now, I forgot how noisy the gardeners were, lol!

@ScribblingAl - so you recommend the womb to world cd? Fab, I'll go out and get it, I was planning to go to the shops anyway!

@Nicky - Hein also sms's me and phones me a lot, but its so so hard not having him home at night at least - I miss him so!

Girls - I bought the most adorable pj's for Connor, they are called Cozy Bugs and you can buy them at Baby City - they're like a one piece gownn with no feet, the material is quite long and covers the feet - then the sleeves have built-in mittens, it works so well - I'm loving putting them on him at night - he looks so comfy and adorable all at the same time!
