Nicky I just use the Johnsons plain unscented acqueous cream on her face but I think all the baby creams are hyper-allergenic etc and are safe for the face?

Glad to say Liebe is still in her routine.

Ive got an Avent Microwave sterilizer , so I just put the bottles in the microwave for 2min and then assemble them and fill them with half the amount of boiled water I need to make a feed and when it is feeding time I have a 500ml flask and just add the other half of hot water.Works for me , I don't put the bottles in the fridge I just keep the lids on.

Scribbling , I give Liebe normal rooibos , the same as what we would drink but I don't make it strong. I use the N3 to travel to work , on straight traffice packed road , but hopefully after the road works it will be better but the sad news is they are only no starting to build the new split at Elands interchange so it will still be a while.

Des , shame I can image how it must feel with your hubby being away.Seef just goes to work and I miss him after a few hour but he phones and sms me a lot which helps.

Congrats to all the ladies with the expressing going so well.I had to exclusively express and it does get more , I started with 40ml , then got 60ml and before my milk dried up I got between 200 and 250ml.

Pinky , it can't be a nice feeling not feeding your baby but I think it means the world to our hubbies when we include them in feeding the baby.

Seef works long hour so his time with Liebe is to give her a massage after her bath and then give her her last bottle before she sleeps for the night.He always looks so proud when he is doing it.

Well Ive got a question , what cream do you use on your babies faces? We use Elizabeth Ann the good night sleep cream and then we use the Elizabeth Ann the normal pink one.But I don't know if you can use it on the face ,can it be to strong?

Have any of you ladies tried the BabySense Womb to World CD? It's bloody amazing. Emily sleeps like a charm - wish I'd started playing it sooner. We also have a bottle warmer. Actually, we have two bottle warmers as I was given two at my baby shower. Any takers for the other one?

I make up the bottles and keep them in the fridge. Or else I put the water in them and keep them in the fridge and add the formula when ready.

Ah Pinky, I feel your pain. I'm sure it will get easier - at least it's your breastmilk that she's getting.

Emily's started vomiting after every feed (including the breastfeed). It's not just posseting but actual vomit, and there's a decent amount. Should I phone the paed or am I just being paranoid? She had her six-week check-up yesterday and everything seemed fine.

well the way we do bottles is wash them and microwave sterilize. then i take kettle boiled water anf fill them with water according to how much is needed like 150ml ect. then i put them in the fridge and leave one in the bottle wamer... such a stunning thing to have they are R400 but worth every penny as your botlle is always perfect temprature and you dont have to rund around and warm a botlle when baby is hungry just always keep one in.

Then if you dont want to fill them with water imidiately i will just keep them in the freezer after washed.

Well, hubby is giving Karla her first bottle now... she seems a bit upset as it is not the boob... but it will probably take some time... It breaks my heart not to feed her for the first time since she is born... it is such a weird feeling!!!

Well, what I do, and I don't know if this is acceptable or not, is after I've sterilized the bottles, I assemble them, then put them with their lids on, in the fridge until I need them - and just use one each time I need to make a bottle for Connor - it works pretty well for me, plus, I figure the fride is hygienic, I hope!!
