Hi Des . Sorry to chirp in - saw your post on the YB shoot. Well done and good luck! So happy for you. Don't be nervous. I've been there a couple of times with my kiddies . I also know the photographer - Noeleen Foster - tell her I say HI . They are all very nice. Just a quick tip - don't put socks on Connor - the marks show in the pics and they Photoshop it out. And pls let me know which month's mag so I can get it.

Maybe I should let daddy be more involved in the whole process - the feed before bathtime ... Then the bathing itself and then the last top up feed ?? Maybe then Connor will settle easier??

I will try it on the weekend when hubby doesn't have to get up early for work, juuuuuuust incase there is another protest session from Connor : )

Girls, just a quick pop in here from me on the feeding before bed that Desiree mentioned. Please please please, I beg of you to let your husbands take their time and learn to do this too. When B was a newborn and would cry when daddy does the routine he would come out of the room and ask what should he do, but I just sat there and told him to sort it out himself.

They have to learn, you never know when you have to be out for bedtime (like me for meetings) and daddy has to take care of evening routine. Don't take over too quickly and have them think that they can't do it anyway so they won't try.

Don't end up like my sister who has a 3 year old whose father still can't put her to bed and mommy has to do it however late she gets home!

Ok, so that settles it - I will do the last bed time feed from now on, ha ha. Shame, hubby felt soooooo bad and when she fell asleep after I took over he looled at me as if I had performed a miracle, he he

I'm very nervous about the photoshoot tomorrow - I really hope everything goes well ladies!!

Des , I don't know why babies do it ,Liebe gets too excited or she just cry after a few minutes if it is her last feed and I let Seef do it. I think the babies feel the excitement of their daddies and then they can not be calm and then start to cry because they are relaxed and wants to sleep after a bath.

For Seef to spend time with Liebe we have decided that he will give her a massage after her bath so he has been doing it from the day we got home from hospital. I will then take her afterwards feed her and put her to bed. If Seef feeds her I will have problems for hours so he doesn't do it often at night , during the day she is fine.

Liebe would also sometime cry when I give her to him when I'm preparing supper , then if I take her she falls a sleep in minutes.

I don't know why this happens.

Yes, I agree, we must do our get together - the sooner the better.

What date works for u ladies?? I have no set plans for the last 3 weekends in May - so if we want it then, great!!
