Hi Mamas

Miserable is my nu name :( :(

After the choking incident, i took LO out of the cot, now a habit has started, after the 3am feed, she refuses to slp unless i hold her in my chest.
my ribs are now caving in, if i try to put her down even in her deepest slp, she jumps and starts to cry.
anyone knows a remedy for acne?
at least yesterday i managed to do my hair, i'm looking much better.
another thing, i have this gross embarassing appetite.it's horrible.

Chat later, bathing LO at 10

Be blessed
Z

Hi there Nicky - Sorry to hijack/butt in.. we were given a recipe for Jungle Juice which is apparently great for milk production:

jungle juice: 2 litre water, 1 litre apple/berry/grape juice, 1 cal c vita, 25 drops rescue remedy, 50ml schlehen black thornberry juice elixer.

Also - champagne is apparently good for milk... Good Luck!

This is much better! Got soooo frustrated with PF - it's just too slow!!! :)

Just checking in and trying to get the hang of this new site. But I'm very impressed!

Hope you all have a lovely day

What also worked for us is a good bedtime routine. Bath, bottle, burp, bed and from sleeptime, for us starts at 6:30pm and end in her room at 7pm was to keep her in her room till it was time to get up in the morning.

Nicky, the easiest thing to do is to keep them awake for the time they should be during the day. The baby sense book has a chart thing. I think for newborn to 6 weeks its something like 30 - 60min awake, then off for a nap.

Keep things bright during the day, happy chatty talky talky, switch on TV or radio etc and dark during the night, minimal light (though no light worked better for us) and no chatting. If you can, I stopped changing my LG nappy in the middle of the night at 3 weeks of age and from then on things got better because changing her would wake her up.

Anyone awake , I'm sure Liebe is switching day and night. She has been awake from 02:30 and is refusing to go back to sleep.she's just so awake even though I'm trying to be as quiet as possible, making no eye contact.I really
hope she falls a sleep soon as we have a busy day ahead of us.I need to figure out how to solve this day and night thing? Is there sonething I can do?

ha ha , Jacadebra i'm hoping for the same as well. Can do with a good nights sleep. I hope your head ache gets better and that you don't have a heavy night shift...

I'm gonna go with my mother in law tomorrow to visit her sister and show liebe to her so I won't be chatting tomorrow.

Hope you all have a nice day tomorrow.
