Lorelai still fits in her carseat, but she is almost 10kg's and i cant carry it when she is in it.

@ Desiree, connor is gorgeous. If you want to know what he weighs, you can generally just pop inot any pharmacy. Thats what I do, now that all James jabs are done till 9 months. I'm going toweigh him monthly for the first year - just to keep me happy I guess:)

Who's babies are out of the baby car seats yet? James still fits in his, but to be honest he is so heavy in it, that I tend to leave it in the car anyway. He also hates it because its rear facing:(

im keen on anything that will keep Lorelai in one position while i do what needs to be done.

I am not such a fan of the bouncers myself. But hubby is keen on one, so wanted to see what other ppl say. He just never stops moving. He sits in his little bouncer chair while I study, and he will happily stay there as long as he can see me and he is not hungry.

Charlotte you are more than welcome to join us here, and just to let you know I am just as fresh out of adolescence as you are .

All these sitting mommies, must remind myself to be patient and let him do things when he is ready.

Hi girls...seems like everyone is doing well - great stuff! Connor is just about 6 months old, my little nunu - loving him more and more everyday!

@Claudia - congrats on the sitting !!

Connor has been sitting too and this weekend was by far the best as far as the sitting goes, he can sit on his own, and unsupported for a few mins at a time - here is our pic!

Also - I started giving Connor some flavoured cereal this weekend, the Nestle Gold, apple & cranberry cereal, and he LOVED it...I mean, he really really loved it....he was so excited for every spoon, just made me smile, we had such a good time. So he's having a little cereal at breakfast, a little fruit at lunch and a little veggie at supper - still small amounts now, but we've tried a few variations and no adverse reactions so far. And, Im finding the new cereal is MUCH easier on his tummy than the plain rice cereal - tmi, I know, but things are much "smoother", he he

Ladies - I have NO idea what Connor weighs now - having had him weighed since he was 4 months old and he weighed 7.3kgs at that stage....2 months later, hmmm...wonder what my big boy weighs now? Think I'll make a turn at the Clinic on Friday to see. We had our first picnic of the Summer yesterday, it was FAB to be outdoors and Connor had such fun, he really seemed to be enjoying being "out" and had a marvelous afternoon nap and slept like a dream last night!!
