Newborn and baby advice

@ Bronz, they sit when they are ready to:), but I have been doing a lot of sitting practice because I'm bored and I'm so used to doing it with my CP babies:) (seriously to make breastfeeding easy I've been keeping my patient load very light and I feel like my brain is rotting)

I'm not a fan of those bouncers, I dont think they are good for baby joints which are still soft - I like them less than the baby walkers, but I know its hard to figure out what to do with them when you are busy:)

ScribblingAl I was lazy and submitted 2 assignments late. They bounced back and said I dont have exam admission. I was freaking out, but sent the lecturer an email and they are letting me write. I am so relieved and must never do that again. Some times you learn the hard way. (even though I have submitted late before with out an issue)

pinky Karla is looking too gorgeous.

Well Graeme got his first kiss this weekend. It was so sweet. A 15 month old little was adamant to give him a kiss on the lips but he was playing hard to get. Eventually she got him on the cheek and she was happy.

I am so happy with him now. He started rubbing his eyes and fussing, so I stuck the dummy in his mouth and he went to sleep. No questions. Only if it could be this easy every day.

What are your view points on bouncers? Those ones that you hang on the door?

@ Des Des Just allow her time to play on the floor - kicking her legs etc.. and dont worry about it, she'll stand when she is ready:)

I'm so chuffed, James has been looking like he is going to sit for about a week and today he started doing it. Still a bit wobbly, but he maintains nicely:) Hubby thinks his balance will mean we can get him into a canoe asap!

Pinky, Karla is sooooo cute! Oh, and she is standing tall!

What exercises should I do to help LK straighten her legs and stand up? She still bends hers when standing.

just a quick note. rule is baby doubles birth weight at 4 months and triples birth weight by 1 year. but each baby is individual and unique so it's just a guideline.

Cerelac has milk/dairy in it so it's not the best one to start with pinky. Rather use purity rice cereal or nestum rice cereal. Only the pure rice cereals are hypoallergenic. Another option is to start baby on veggies rather than rice cereal such as sweet potato. Personally I'm loathe to do that before 6m though. I started J on purity rice cereal mixed with bmilk on Wed and he loves it. It's so runny in the beginning that they only really taste the milk anyway which is their favourite taste at this time Good luck and enjoy the mess!
