Morning ladies.

woke up in a good mood again today pleasures of pregnancy, when my LG kicks and does funny moves I just melt.
anyway, all is going well with her. strong heartbeat, she weighs 1.9kg @ 32weeks (was panicking cos my mom says my tummy is still small ).
she hasnt turned yet, lying with her head on my left side.

Gynae said I should not be working from 18 June, I plan to stop working on 11July thou to avoid the germs of all sick people.

@Jo C problem is i dont have internet at work, and by the time i get home im tired just wanna have a bath and sleep.... Wow your hubby is just too sweet...

My friend is planning my shower but told her i wanna be involved and want it by my house. It will be end of June but i ordered a cake today blue and white coz i them to wear white and i will wear a blue dress... I cant wait.

my BF is very supportive, wish she had more free time for us to go around together.
my other close-friend had a miscarriage in Jan ( ) she wants to go around with me, but gets all emotional when she thinks she could have been doing the same,
I hope she falls pregnant soon.

Hi ladies.

had such a KAK day (sori) went for Gynae appointment which was suppossed to be @ 14:00 but ended up being @ 17:15! Gynae had to help with few deliveries in the morning, which I understand cos that will be me soon (54Days ). but then the Temp she got for reception messed everything afterwards and it was 1st come-1st served!
now had to get stuck in traffic alone in the dark (hate driving @ night).
got home and called DH to let off some steam onto him (international calls are damn expensive! Vodacom is ripping us off).

anyway, Im doing my breathing and relaxing.

Newbie: Your LG's foot and hands in her mouth so cute, cant wait to see the pics.

Vicky: I'm happy your sister is ok, shame man I can just imagen that feeling I have 2 sisters and if I had t receive a call like that I'd probly also have my heart in my throat, we are very close.

I'm very lucky, my BF has made so much effort to see me and help with making choices with the baby room, she even went with me to set up my baby registry. Strange to think that we met through her brother, lol at least something good came out of my relationship with my ex. I gained a BF.

Jo_C: Shame so sweet that you hubby is trying to arrange a babyshower.

I'm having my babyshower on Saturday, shame my 2 sisters and mom has put in so much effort, I would like to give them something to thank them. I need some input:

1. Should I get them Chocolates, flowers, or bath goodies?

2. Do I need to give the guests a thank you gift?

Wow the 4D scan was awesome, she had her hands and foot in her mouth most of the time, but we got a few nice shots.. Anyhow bad news, I only got a video, after I specifically told them I need the images as well. Anyhow I will have to go back there tommorow and get all. So once I have it, I will post the pics..

csejake and ashbabe - glad I could help with the hospital list. BTW went to dischem and got small bottle of powder, baby oil, toothpaste and bla bla, that will last me 3 days or more. And it was cheaper then buying big things.. So I will have all packed by the weekend. I have finally bought all except mixture for jungle juice and thats about it.. yay!!!

Jo_C - my LG is also not active, but she hasnt ever really been, only more at 3am.. I wouldnt worry..My sister in law is rude and pretencious, felt like slapping her.. Sorry just some people annoy me. Well I hope if the nurses hurt me I can pluck up the courage and say something. As for the c-section video, its not too bad.. It actually made me feel a bit better. Also about ur friend, perhaps u are being a little sensitive if that is always the way she has been. However u can just let her know that it is a bit hurtful and that you would rather her not being so negative about baby. I am sure she will understand if she knows u well.

Juandre_N - we also only got a DVD, ah my LG was so cute. lol sorry to hear about ur pants..

vickyvdw - shame girl, at least ur sister is ok. My brother was in ICU for 3 weeks in a coma after some drunk driver hit them head on. We were told he wasnt going to make it. So I know how u feel. For 6 months he was in hospital and at first was taken to a government hospital even though he was on medical aid.. He spent 2 weeks there. His lungs had collapsed and his leg almost had to be amputed. His colon had also burst and had a shattered pelvis. He was on life support for a month. Sometimes I am glad he went to a government hosptial as only 5% of patients with his injuries live to see another day. I know they are not as nice, but they deal with severe cases. So perhaps ur sister was lucky, although no comfortable. Sorry you not feeling great today. Why dont u stay at home tommorow and take a me day... Hope u and ur sis are better soon.. As for the stupid people at work, just ignore them. You dont need people like that..

ashbabe - i second that with re to Best friends.. i havent seen mine since i fell preggies. She was invited to my baby shower and didnt even bother to RSVP.. it was very difficult for me..

Jo_C - sure hubby will try and do something special for you either way. He sounds like one in a million.. and u can have as many baby showers as you want.. some people!!

AND yes JO, I am here, just been a hectic day, been out at clients fm morning till now..
