One more I wanted to show Schatsie especially, of a cross stitch that a friend did when Matthew was born. It has baa baa black sheep - which I was forced to sing at his baby shower and also - details of his birth weight on the flag.

So nice to see your news gosh christening and party AND back to work!! I meant to get back to you re BD after c-section. My gynae said really the right time is simply when you feel ready - he said the 6 weeks is just a 'sommer' kind of date as most women have stopped bleeding etc (this is for c section i'm talking about) and we the only thing to bear in mind is that for some reason bf or whatever the woman has less lubrication so should probably use ky jelly. We bd'd at 5 weeks post c-section (that's the day i saw the gynae) and used said jelly and it was fine in fact bd'ing seems to be even better since W's birth! amazing! So many gifts!

Rakker, I have the same with the pee in a cup thing, I only fill a little bit and then the rest goes into the loo Try using corn flour on the nappy rash, I found it worked wonders with Em.

Kimika, sorry that R has been off, but glad he is feeling better and giving smiles

Betty, where did you get the hair wash jug? I want to get for Em, as I always need to use a face cloth. Music also works like a charm to get Em or Kate to sleep. I dont think children like the silence after months of being in a noisy womb.

Schatsie, sorry about the scare, but glad all is ok. Not long to go now!

Cath, glad things are still going so well with you! And I agree about not being the the room for the jabs, I refused flat out with Em and I wont go in with Kate either, and also just gave some panado as a "just in case" Although we never really had problems with Em after any shots.

AFM, finally driving again, been going mad not being able to get into my car! Went to canal walk for coffee with work ladies today. I'm going to start doing work again tomorrow, getting bored during the day
Have started getting things sorted for Em's birthday party and Kates Christening. (Hope that Em's dress fits Kate or will have to have a new one made)
Kate continues to be a dream, so calm and sweet Cannot wait for her to smile for real - cause we get lots of "wind" smiles.

Hi all! Thanks for all the comments on my previous post. The hormones, oh the hormones... Thinking back to my reaction I feel I over reacted, but at the time my fears were very real. For those who asked, the cold is still with me, but it isn't that bad any more. Just a pitty my LB also got it and together with that some highly irritated tonsils. And to make matters worse, he had about 3 runny(ish) nappies that were totally odourless. Odourless sounds nice, until a poo nappy goes unnoticed for an hour or 2 . My poor baby has the most terrible nappy rash now. And not only on his bum and that region, but also where his nappy rubbed against his legs. Big red patches with little blisters on. I sent him to school like that and hope he is OK. It's a problem if you don't have enough leave of any kind. Wish I could stay home with him today rather.

Just a few personals:

Meags, have a look at "cranio sacral therapy" (sp?) for Matt. My one friend swears by it. Read about it and maybe give it a try. I'm sure someone there will be able to perform this, as we even have people in SA who do it. That is if you feel the chiro isn't doing the job. Not sure, but I think it is related in some way to chiro. Your pics are really too cute for words. Let's hope I can scrape together enough money for a photo shoot...

Betty_F, enjoy the last few weeks of getting everything ready. I still have the stuff that I had to do a week ago... Just couldn't get myself to do it this weekend.

Joli, I don't know what I will do if that happens to me. I will probably just go without the car or something. No normal person has that amount of money hidden away under a mattress. Hope you can convince the insurance to at least pay some of it.

Fawhaway, congrats with your son's 2nd birthday. I wish I could get some winter clothes for my son... I will have to do some serious shopping soon and dread the cost of the exercise.

Schatsie, glad you can stay home for now. I never knew about the midstream thing. My problem is that I don't think I will be able to "knyp" halfway to get the cup in place . And doing it otherwise will just be such a mess... Talking about those cups... Those long ones that look nice and big. Is it just me or are they too small? I have had a few occasions where the darn cup overflowed. When looking at the cups of the other ladies at the gynae, they don't even get to 1/5 of the cup. There I am always having to dump some urine and also try and clean the cup after filling it 120%.

Jessica, a friend of mine commented that the Johnson & Johnson smells like the sun. Don't know what the sun smells like, but it must be good.

Cath, it is so sad that ML also has to end. I already feel sad about mine and it hasn't even started yet...
