Hi Guys

I am soo sorry for butting in here on your thread.
I have been following you guys every day and would just like to congratulate every single mommy on the birth of the little babies.

And I want to say goodluck to every mommy close to birth, it is a magical experience.

Amy - I would just like to reply via the bath after c-sec.
I was in a private room so had a bath tub in my bathroom, and started to bath the day after csec. The day I got home from hospital I went into a FULL bath of water and just lay there enjoying myself so my wound and everything was under water. I don't know if I was suppose to shower of what but I did bath right after my csec.

There so much more I wanted to say but I have a pain in my right side behind my eye and my eye keeps watering. Dunno wat it could be.

Well ladies its taken me a week to get on here.
I went into hospital on Monday and was booked in. On tuesday morning I was prepped for theater. At 8 am I met my husband on the way to theater. We went into theater. Waited twenty minutes for the doctor. The worst twenty min cos I was so nervous. Kept sqeezing dh hand telling him I'm nervous. Got into theater. Had the spinal block. Dh brought in and the doctor proceeded.I just focused on hubby held his hand. LG was born at 8:45.
3 kg and 52 cm tall. Not bad.
Taken to ward to recover. At about 10am I asked where is the baby and they said she is being kept for observation in the nursery cos she is grunting and has nasal flaring and something about her chest rising.and if she doesn't improve she has to go to icu. Oh my word . I thought to myself NO NOT AGAIN ITS ALL HAPPENING AGAIN. I just prayed and waited kept asking nurse and they kept saying she still same and I can't feed her yet she may aspire the milk. Dh spoke to the doctor and so we waited. At about twelve they brought her to feed and said she has stopped grunting I can feed her and I must observe her. so I did and she seemed fine so I just tried to feed her but most of the time she just wanted to sleep.so yesterday we came home and we decided to stay with my parents for a bit just to get used to things and for help with the stitches.
Now I have some questions for the ladies that have had the ceaser. Is it normal to still feel sensitive around the end stitches whjen waking up from loo or bed. Did u apply anything to the stitches? How long did u wait before having a bath cos u not suppose to wet the area? For how long did u take painkillers. Wat painkillers did u take?

Saw on another thread Anje's LG was born yesterday, 3.5kg. No other info yet.

Meags I can totally understand that feeling of being annoyed when others wanna touch or have special moments with the baba and u thinking I should be doing that. I had that yesterday with my mum. I think they just excited too. And I think its natural mothers instinct to be a little protective.
That gel pad is the same one I told u about. You freeze it and put in on the episiotomy. INSTANT RELIEF. Someone asked where u get it from. My mum bought me one from dischem.

Shcatsie I'm glad dr has checked u and sent u home to rest and I hope u feel better. That nausea can't be fun.my thoughts are wid u. Please keep us updated.

Joli that 60000 is a lot of money. Why the hell is it so much. I hope that gets sorted out somehow. Can u not get another quote.

Very bad sleep last nigtt....could not even lie down as my heartburn was so bad....

Anyway I am just so happy cos today is 38 weeks!!! Never thought this day would come.

Need to pop out now to do a few last last minute things then plan to spend the day resting so will do personals then!

Just came to see if any updates on AnjeD and Schatsie!
