A quick phone update. Bp a bit better but had protein trace in urine so sister says i'm gonna b here 4 a while. Looks more like it's gonna b 4 observation rather than c sec! My gynae is super conservative!
Not happy cause I hate hospitals and will hav fit if i hav 2 stay here 2wks! Will update once I saw dr.

Anje!! That is sounding very much like labour!! Yippee for you!!
So glad your turn has finally come - hope the birth is magical and quick!

Mistymom- it was great catching up at the Gynae, such a small world. Jvh was his usual jovial self- did you spot the pig tie? Crazy Gynae....
Welldone on no weight gain for you- wish I could say the same, and baby gaining is wonderful. Not too much longer for you.

Lucy - how did the photo shoot with Dad go? Please post some pics..

Claire - and the others who asked, Matthew is still snotty, runny nose and a cough, but slowly improving. Have to give him so much medicine - on Oralyx, bisolven, routerix and then neurophen for pain. But he does not complain taking the meeds so lucky there. I asked him last night if he feels sick and he said no, but I can see he is run down and has rings around his eyes. He is very playful and in good spirits though.
Let us know how your gynae appointment goes.

Tazzy- I think I am preparing for those 3 am feeds..

Hi Jessica- I can only imagine how hectic things must be for you...

Meags- lovely to see you posting. Hope the chiropractor provides Matt with some relief. I don't think you are being funny with wanting to do all Mommy things with Matt is normal. I remember feeling similar with my Matthew. My MIL used to " grab" him every time I saw her, it drove me absolutely insane, especially on Mothersday- when she carried him all day. Will never forget how peeved I was. She would only give him back to me when he was screaming for milk and inconsolable. And then when i asked to take him back, she would think it strange that i needed to feed him again... Got so bad
that I never wanted to visit there so much. Anyhow he is too big to grab now, she also has more grandchildren now so hopefully this time will be different.
Where did you get the gel pad? At baby city? Never saw any there.

So we may have 2 babies today.

Faw- sorry about the mastitis, all the best at court!

AFM- so Gynae is still happy with baby's progress. I have gained another 2 kg and baby 600 g in 3 weeks. She is now estimated 3.1kg at 36 weeks.
Still plenty of amniotic fluid - baby is head down, and face forward. It was so sweet when he poked my tummy, he squished her nose- and I saw it on the screen.
He does not think that baby will be here before EDD.
He made some comment that baby is going to be very big and tried to prep me for the possibility of another c section, saying that the chances are not looking great for a natural.
The other thing he mentioned is that he won't allow baby to be induced or to give me oxytocin to bring on the contractions. This is what happened last time, waters broke and then I got the drip. Apparently it can pop your uterus in a VBAC.
So if I don't go into natural labour or if the labour does not progress then it will definitely be a c section.

So my next appointment is 20 April and then 29 April- on which date I expect he will then give me a date for a c section.

And so we carry on work until 26 April is still looking good then.
DH off to Dbn today and then Jhb tomorrow...
Going to try stop at Hammond kids this afternoon- this is where I got cot and compactum a few tears ago. I want to get a new mattress for cot and a cover for the changing mattress.

Hi girls. Haven't had a chance to sit and write to you. I have been reading though.
Got mastitis again and may be a cyst. My husband tried to bullshit me but it didn't work cos i found out the truth. Going to appear in shariah court today. Don't know if he will be there and don't care as long as i get what i want.
Lots been going on but its time for me to sleep. Will try update you proper later today.

So I think this is it, I am having strong uterus and lower back pain. It started around 03h00 and we are going to hospital now. Will keep you updated if possible.

Oh yes. I wanted to say - I'm struggling to do pelvic floor exercises?! When I do them, nothing is happening?! Kimika - or anyone else who had natural - did u experience that? Maybe its still early days to be worried? Think I may just phone the midwife tomorrow to ask.

I also wanted to say for those having natural - stock up on Brufen for any swelling post delivery and also, buy the Carriwell gel pad. It has been a life saver for down there!!

oh yes Matt's cord fell off last night glad about that. it was hanging by a thread and was so gross!!

Have emailed Amy to see how her caesar went yesterday - will let you know if there's any news from her.

Our gate is broken here so we cant get to the garage - it is SUCH a pain as yesterday it was pouring with rain, Matt was hysterical in the car and I had to run in with him screaming (I couldnt even get to him properly as the sidewalk was flooded (have to park there since we cant get to the garage)) and then I still had to bring in the groceries and also could hardly reach those as the car was surrounded by a massive puddle. so the owner was suppose to come from 12 today...well its 4pm and no news from him. very annoyed.

we are going to the french consulate tomorrow to get him the french nationality. luckily DH is in charge of all the paperwork stuff with regards to his nationalities and passports!!!
