Hi ladies,

Something I never thought I would say – I am 41 weeks pregnant !!

So Saturday morning after I got out of the bath, I noticed I got my first stretchmark on my belly (next to my belly button) and for the first time I was a little upset and a little disappointed that L is still not here. If she arrived a day earlier I would not have had a stretchmark – superficial, I know. I am finally getting that anxious feeling of wanting her out now. I am totally ready for her now. I think my belly has reached its limit as it really feels that there just isn’t enough space for L when she moves around.

Dr sent me home with instructions to call her should my water broke or if I have a lot of discharge. I don’t have to pick between induction or c-sec yet. So we wait some more. Dr thinks she will def arrive before Friday – I really do hope so. I will definitely keep you ladies updated.

AnjeD - did I miss something?? Are you still at the hopsital?

Yay at last got my maternity shoot pics!

Joli - what a nightmare shame...really wish you where in CT...would hire you in a flash to do my newborn shoot! Hope it gets better (does not sound like there is more left to breakdown!). At what age is best to do a shoot like Meags pics....they are so beautiful, am hoping to find somebody in CT who can do ones just like that!

Betty - last of the working girls....glad to see that you at last getting the nursery ready. Shame on all teh emotions unpacking everything. Am sure must of brought back memories!

Schatsie - ya the sleep thing is weird. Maybe its cos I know I do not need to get up early for work that I am waking early knowing I can sleep later! Sounds like you had a good weekend! So wish I was talented like you to make things. PLease post a pic when you are finished with the bag. Cant remember as your date changed...when are you having the c section again?

AnjeD...where are you? WHat is happening?? Hope teh fact that you have not posted means something is happening!

ClaireC - nice to have an absolute final deadline!

Meags, I am sorry to hear that you are still struggling with the little guy, but if you keep on pumping, he will at least still benefit from breast milk. RE the bonding, I think there are a million other ways in which you will still bond with him. The newborn photies are beautiful. Good luck with the reflux and the colic, hope it will be better soon and hope he settles down a bit now.

Aaah Em, Kate sounds like an angel. To tell you the truth, I do not have a preference for a C-sec or natural, I am actually following dr.’s advice to try natural. But I am sure, I do not want an induction, because I have not heard of many success stories re induction. Oh, and happy b-day, hope you had a fabulous day.

Betty, glad you and DH were able to have some time out time. Enjoy the shopping that you still need to do for baby room and putting together the final bits and bobs. I also had comments from 35 weeks of my tummy that dropped, but L is still not here, so rather not use that as a measurement for birth of baby.

Schatsie, so glad you enjoyed your photoshoot. I am sure you will have beautiful pictures. You have a wonderful mom for helping you. Enjoy your scan !!

Lucy, glad to hear the berry juice is working, I will be drinking it as well. Sounds like you have a wonderful husband, even though he wakes you in your sleep…hehe.

Mistymom, hehe, I totally agree, I feel completely left out re the feeding and sleeping routines etc. Enjoy your last days off before baby joins the world. Lucky you on having your sister around when baby is due. I love your pics !!

Kimika, glad you enjoyed the wedding, looking forward to some pics, especially of the kids.

Joli, you really did have an aweful weekend, so sorry, but somehow we always seem to cope. Thinking of you.

Claire, lucky you, my gyne is not at all in a hurry to take L out. At least you have a specific date set.
